cremorne
Let's play 4 2 3 1, get a tall strong striker.
Le Hack
Auckland have signed Brimmer from Vuck, Rojas from Roar, Woud from Ventforet, and a number of other All Whites. Also looking to get Sarpreet Singh. No striker yet inked so perhaps Maclaren is it.

Nate
First Fornaroli, now Maclaren... We always hear that no player is bigger than the club, yet I'd argue both players are bigger than Joyce and Vidmar. Hard to maintain interest at the moment with all of the club's current instability. Being out of contract, not performing, valuing yourself higher than the club’s offer creates an awkward situation doesn’t it - same in any work environment. Or is it more football related? Essentially your first point mate. He's frustrated that the club aren't willing to give him big money, and he's not willing to settle for anything less. Do we trust the club on this?
belaguttman
You are only as good as your current season; if he shows that he deserves the money then I’d be happy to pay him. he has been poor this season; well positioned but most shots to the keeper; offers little out of the box. 2

D.B. Cooper
FWIW Jamie currently has 8 goals in 1753 minutes (A League) this year. As a reference last year he scored 24 in 2592 minutes. heart1011
I hate saying this but you can clearly see and have been able to see for weeks now that Jmac is so checked out and clearly heading off at the end of the season. Rumour has it that he isn't going to Auckland but a potential move to Japan or Saudi Arabia awaits.
haz
Gone. His head was never in it this season. Let's see where he ends up at.
jw1739
Yes, it's over. I think we could see it half-way through the season. Wish him, and his family, all the very, very best - has to be in the Heart/City Hall of Fame. Certainly would get my vote on that. Thanks JMac!! 2
neio
As sad as it is and we could all see it coming, I'm so happy he is going out of the league. It just doesn't feel right when club legends come up against their former team (Ninkovic in this league, Lampard in UK etc) He is our GOAT

luka74
Sad he is moving on, has created many memories and highlights, will we ever see someone hit 5 in a derby again ? I doubt it. Really hope he kicks on wherever he ends up. Edited May 1 by luka74 spelling
Mr MO
I think India would be the right level for him. Would be nice if both him and Curtis stay within the group and go to Mumbai City. Understandable why some fans are sad but this move is much needed for both club and player.

D.B. Cooper
A club legend. I wonder if the league will ever see someone score at his rate again? I doubt this club will.
