James Meredith

I wouldn't mind taking a punt on Lyden

(I'd take David Williams too)

Agree, wouldn't say no to Jedi, Milligan or Spira either.

Jesse Curren seems to be open to an offer, he could be good also.

If true, seems like the chances of resigning Bart have gone out the window.

Whilst I'd be sad to lose Bart, this is a good level and age of player to be looking at. No Bart also clears space for a marquee, because Bart would not be the second marquee.

6'3" tall and 21 matches in the Eredivisie last season.

While the present limitations on the A-League continue it will be almost impossible for us to compete with the Asian leagues. There is just so much money sloshing around over there - mega-rich owners from legitimate business activities, and in addition widespread corruption, bribery, kickbacks and other off-field perks offered to players...you name it, they do it. TBH, I don't know how we can begin to compete with them.

Javier Carbrera apparently signing for City. Uruguayan winger.

Interesting signing. He’s a RW, so the same side as Noone.

Probably will shift Cabrera to the left, because he is right-footed, so he can cut in and shoot on his right.

Noone can play on both wings.

Noone said in his interview he can play either side so i suspect he's more likely your LW.

Translated from here: http://www.tenfield.com.uy/bellini-regresa-al-bohemio/

Javier Cabrera, who spent six months in Wanderers, leaves at the end of the month. He will continue his career in Australian football. It will be the second low next to that of Santiago Martínez (Mexico).

Token highlights

If Craig noone & Javier Cabrera are wingers then dont tell me we are going to use Florin as the AM and not use that position for a creative marquee?

You have to wait and see. So far our only confirmed signings are Galloway and Noone. Many a slip betwixt cup and lip. There is often confusion overseas between City and Victory, and quite a few "deals" fall through at the last minute.
