neio
Think this is a really solid signing, made the K League team of season last season, a league that is probably better than ours Obviously this probably confirms the end of Bart, but as a replacement he seems pretty good

silva10
That was a great interview, He is very positive and a leader. If we are going to lose Bart, then we may have found a great replacement for him.
Harrison
Windy has played a bit of football as a defensive midfielder, which is a positive. He'll be a CB but it shows us what kind of player he is...good on the ball, a decent passer etc. Really good signing.

It might not be higher compared to other teams but it seems to happen a lot to our marquee/visa players. Second time for Windy this season already and had an broken season last year. With Maclaren I’m almost certain he played too much football in recent weeks.

Yes, anecdotally it does seem to happen a lot, but I don't know what the statistics are. Adelaide had a marquee miss almost the whole of last season didn't they, and now Newcastle have the same thing? What I am uneasy about is that we (again) "seem" to get a lot of training injuries, and I've wondered for a long time whether our players are actually over-training because of the way our season and off-season are structured? Harrison
A very good player at this level, though not surprising for a guy who was in the K League TOTS in 2018. If he keeps fit we’re looking golden down back.

Deluka
4 games, 4 wins - very early to tell but could really be one of those CBs who lifts those around him. I still remember the impact Adrian Madaschi in the Heart days had for us (albeit a short time) - hopefully we see the same particularly with Jamo out. kingofhearts
He works so much and has a much better presence at CB compared to Delbridge. Even when Delbridge was playing as a full back he was still making mistakes and out of position a few times. His health will decide how far we go this season.
johnno cpfc
I must say he played very well for a man who has not played a match for nearly 8 months , he reads the play so well and never stops.
