Correct. we have no voice at all. "City Voice" dead, the Fan Representative Group moribund. We never see any feedback from surveys.

What we need is that voice. Surely someone has a contact in the media who would be prepared to expose the mismanagement, the hypocrisies, the truth behind player departures, the fan frustration etc?

Pay your membership, sit down, shut up and don't ask any questions!!!

In his position it only logical to walk.

If he sticks it out and then gets axed at the end of the season his career is pretty much done.

If he walks stating some bs reasoning he still has a slim chance to pick up another job in U.k

Either way it looks like he is gone.

Now this is an extremely honest question, why would a highly rated UK coach who's biggest claim to fame is coaching United yoof team venture out to Australia of all places?

His known in the UK for being a career killer at senior level!!!! Try and find a Wigan forum and ask the question to what they think of Joyce.

Time to flood the club with emails calling for Joyce to be stood aside. Let the assistant coaches step in and bring Bruno back into the team. My email will be sent tonight. Joyce is a one man wrecking machine but Petrillo as Director of Football should also be considering his position.

Which email you sending to? I'm bored at work. Maybe time for an email to the club.

looks like it is firstname.surname at Meb... etc

Thing is, this needs to go to whoever Scott reports to at CFG. He will filter any 'bad news' - CFG need to be told how badly they are ballsing this thing up.

In any event, Joyce is gone. There is no way known he can survive next season. In true club form though, we will totally stuff up the 'transition' and all how him to coach too long, then he will come up with an excuse of family etc.

The club hasnt got the cajones to make a big statement. I gave this guy a chance - he has totally destroyed the fabric of the club and IMHO could have set us back years if we dont manage ourselves out of this. An unmitigated disaster on so many levels.

Definitely destroyed the club. We are back to season 1 in terms of attendance.

If we really want traction - I would send a copy of what was sent to the club to two people:

David Davutovic - main footballer writer at the HeraldSun

Michael Lynch - from the age.

Not sure if anyone has their work related email (often at the end of articles behind a paywall) - as this would be a fan driven story that would be worth writing about.

Unfortunately for us, despite our bloodlust, IMO the most likely outcome is that Joyce will see his contract out until the end of the season and then it will not be renewed.

CFG seem to be very reluctant to terminate anyone.

However, it is not in CFG's interests to have, on a continual basis, a weak and impotent Melbourne City, because it lessens their credibility in their pursuit of their wider agenda for Australian football over the 10 years that Simon Pearce talks about. So I believe that ultimately their hand will be forced and they will either have to bail out of City and lose face - highly unlikely IMO - or actually make the changes necessary to make us a winning club.

Other than that, the only thing IMO that will make them make changes sooner rather than later is if the media start to ridicule them.

Interesting article in goal.com https://www.goal.com/en-au/lists/how-much-is-every-a-league-squad-worth/1r6kbryys9ueh173w63cnipcmp

According to them the value of each squad is

Melbourne Victory. 22.58 mill

Sydney  20.66 mill

Melbourne City 17.34 mill

Perth. 15.5 mill

Brisbane 15.03

WSW 13.8

Newcastle 12.47

Wellington 12.1

Adelaide 11.8

CCM 10.65

Makes a mockery of Victorys taunt that we will buy the championship.

Also makes an interesting comment on what you can do if you spend wisely (and have the right people in charge) eg Perth and Wellington.

As we all know, it’s not the squad that’s the problem it’s the gaffer 100%.

It uses transfermarkt values. Of course the main difference is the marquee worth, but since everyone follows the same cap then anyone that has a high valued team on transfermarkt should be applauded for getting those good high value players (except marquees) under the cap

Just looked at the transfermarkt values.  Some are ludicrous. Just for comparison they have Brattan valued at 540K (GBP) and then Riley McGree at 675K, Florin Berenguer at 720K, and (laughably) Dario Vidosic at 765K. In fact they have Vidosic as the third highest value after Bruno and De Laet.

Joke.

*Post Moderated.

It's not OK to be racist. We can hardly afford to tell a third of our crowd to go away just because you want to get hyperbolically angry about a manager because of his national origin or heritage (nobody had a go at JVS for being Dutch, or Aloisi for being Italian, incidentally). You no doubt think you're being ironic and clever, when you're just juvenile and offensive. Pull your head in and grow up.

According to Twitter, Harry Redknap is on his way to Melbourne City - this to review our season and address our poor performances.

Whatever the question is, I'm not sure Harry Redknapp is the answer.
