Torn Asunder
My opinion is that MLS attacks are better in general than the a-league, but the defending is horrible which makes the game play a bit messy at times ... A-Legue defence is much stronger I do love the way they share their grounds with baseball and NFL .... looks awesome (not)

Rasputin
Haven't come close to finding an adequate replacement/s for Mooy, no surprise goal scoring chances have completely dried up. It's like a desert out there for Bruno Huddersfield supporters saying best player ever to pull on a Huddersfield shirt.

Like the Brazil star, he is an all-rounder, slotting neatly into the defensive role but also creative and dangerous when he plays further forward – and he is a setpiece specialist. He was seen as an attacking midfielder in Oz, where he was involved in 43 of Melbourne's 63 games last season, including 11 goals and a league record 20 assists.Mooy told our sister paper the Huddersfield Examiner: “Manchester City speak to me at least once a week and their scouts are coming to our matches, so they know how I’m doing.“They see me developing and they are in touch quite a lot, so it’s good.ADVERTISEMENT “They wanted to put me in a tough league to test me out and see how I deal with it, and they are happy with how I’m going.“But they still think I can improve and play at a higher level, so hopefully I can keep progressing.”Mooy made the move from Melbourne in the summer, a surprise deal for City, especially after his previous move to England – when he went to Bolton as a 16-year-old – ended without him making a first-team appearance in four seasons. He moved on to St Mirren for two seasons but was dogged by a back injury and returned to Australia. He had two years at Western Sydney Wanderers before Melbourne moved for him in 2014, and by then he was an established international and one of the stars of the A-League – and jumped at the chance of another stint in England.City signed him on a three-year deal in the summer and immediately loaned him to Huddersfield, where manager David Wagner has similar ideas to Guardiola.Wagner recently said: “Aaron is fantastic – a fantastic football player and a fantastic guy as well.“He is humble but very ambitious and that's why he's at the right place here, as we are also humble and ambitious.“He is the heart of our offensive game. He knows exactly when he has to accelerate the game, when to slow down the game.“He makes nearly no mistakes in passing, and nearly always makes the right decisions. This is something special for an offensive player, who is able to handle the ball so well but is aggressive, with a very good working attitude in defence as well.“This combination is something special.”

A move to Manchester would be amazing but after what he is producing at Huddersfield deserved.

Funny enough out of all the players the style of play last season suited Mooy and Bruno. Mooy had reign to float all over the midfield and dominate. HEARTinator
Nice blog about Mooy and chances of making it into the Man City lineup. Right now, nobody in our team is having the influence that Aaron had last season. Brattan/Caceres underwhelming - they just run around in circles.

I was under the impression the new rules meant you could recall in transfer windows, just not on a month to month basis like previously. In saying that I’m not sure, it would make sense that the terms are stipulated in the actual loan contract upon formation so as not to leave the loanee in the lurch. I'm definitely not 100% sure though. Edited January 4, 2017 by bt50
