silva10
In my opinion I don’t believe Mauk is a great loss. If we had the option to buy and have passed on it, it would be interesting to know the reasons why. I just don’t think his passing is good enough. bt50
Id have preferred to keep him as i love his work rate and endeavour, however in saying that, i tend to think of him as outside the best xi in our best side so i guess that makes him expendable if a better player is available. As always, proof will be in the pudding there..

Imtellingyou
There are no better players of his age available in the league. The fact is no one likes to play for the currently managed team.

n i k o
@bt50 @Embee @Imtellingyou is right. I could not find a player that was born on the 12th of October 1995 that is better than him in the aleague. Should do everything to keep. 1

But then, City keep everything well under wraps unless and until it has actually happened.

jw1739
Mixed feelings and I confess I'm a bit surprised. I thought he was a player who fitted the Joyce mould. By the time we kick off for 2018-19 Joyce will have rebuilt almost the entire squad, so he's going to have no excuses.
Thrillhouse
anonymous for most of the season but finally started to click towards the end, not gutted like when we traded him for that hack Malik

Definitely no excuses but that was never an impedement for JVS to keep coaching.

Much like Kamau, both were teenagers with a lot of talent who left Adelaide after featuring regularly and stagnated or went backwards.
