I'm excited about the opportunities tighter budgets give to our best youngsters. I want to see the kids play and thrive. Necovski sounds like a gun and I've managed to see Sulemani play for less than 20 minutes so far in an NPL game at Ballarat. But he's also had great props. Caputo we've seen and I rate him, and Mazzeo looks up to it.

Emin Durakovic has played 4 games out of 12 for NPL2 sude this year for two goals. Left foot midfielder. I'd say he was injured. Shillington is a right back. Played 9 of 12 games this season 1 goal, 5 yellow cards! He has been picked a couple of times for soccer's u21s. He's 19. I think when you're looking into the one's we lost: Gauci, Rodriguez, Bernardo, these guys were all Adelaide boys we got by offering higher $s than anyone else. Hence they were already mercenaries when we got them and always likely to leave. I'm more cut up about guys like Cola really

Yeah it sucks with the Cola situation and not giving Rodrigues enough game time giving him no option but to leave...there's definitely been some real talent let go of too soon unfortunately. belaguttman
Young talent management is always an issue for successful teams. We just don't have a long enough season, or enough other Cups or competitions running at the same time as the A League se4ason to give them all enough game time. This is structural issue that will hopefully be improved with a second division

It is also normal that they then decide to go elsewhere. Transfermarkt list of contract expiring Aussies goes for about five pages. So it's more about what we will need to fix up holes in our list. I think we should get a back up CF to Caputo in case he doesn't fire. Giannou, Blackwood, Petratos, or Cumming would be available if Maclaren going to Mohun. I think they'd all be reasonable capable or you run Lecks as the back up. A FB would be good. Smith, Davidson are available from os. Millar from Macarthur wouldn't be a bad bargain pick up. A CB or two would be good. Talk is we have signed Trewin. Delbridge again? Chapman? Ansell also available but he's spud like. Mids you have Nisbet, Brimmer, Caceres, Brattan, Piscopo, Ryan Williams, De Silva available. Nothing to really be excited about as you'd think most would re-sign. Wingers. Halloran is apparently on the outer at Adelaide. Ikonomidis, Mileusnic isn't terrible. Really depends who we keep and looks like we might be keeping a fair amount of our players for some stability this coming season

He would be best as the first choice striker off the bench until he properly proves himself... Nisbet is arguably the best Australian midfielder in the A-League currently and would be a huge get! Trewin would be a solid replacement for Good with bright future! Mileusnic from Brisbane? He's a good player and would be happy to have! Will be an interesting off season that is for sure! neio
Would take Nisbet and Trewin, wouldn't dismiss taking Matt Millar if available. Depending what Aziz is doing, id take Brad Smith if he was interested in returning home . Delbridge maybe, but that could be cause I liked him when he was here The rest is a solid no, either too old or doesn't particularly help us. There's not much available at all really from Aussies available which you'd think is going to make us better side. I think it's getting younger Visas which will help us the most.

Unfortunately he's now 32, but one thing about him for sure is that he gives 100% for the team. He might be OK alongside Souprayen except that would mean another two lefties at CB. NewConvert
I would try and poach Cola to replace Jakolis. Otherwise, if a local is over 26 then I am not terribly thrilled. Piscopo showed promise but has had a lot of injuries. Da Silva never seems to have made a step up. A defensive mid-fielder to replace Jeggo would also be useful.
