So Maclaren flies into Sydney tonight, any chance of a sub appearance? I know the club said that he will play next week, but why would he fly into Sydney. I'm sure there would be a flight to arrive in Melbourne tonight

Maccas shirt presentation in front of the Cove just to stick it up’em.

climbing up the ladder this season seems to be much more difficult than we expected, with the game before (ADLvBRI) and (CCMvMVC) it's obvious that we won't get away with slim wins and easy wins..its going to take much more than that, tomorrows game means that if we perform the same way we have for the past 5 weeks, we simply won't win. We're too reliant towards free kicks we can't score from and corners we rarely head in...iknow we all wish Macca and Harrison can teleport to Sydney..RIP

We’ve never had any answers for Sydney for the last three years.

We really need to try something different.

Exactly. Victory showed us last season that the Championship can be won by anyone.

Just need to be in it to win it.

Anyone who takes the league serious and is willing to invest in marquee and visa players as well as playing these players in the best positions.

The Tards were the first to win it from 4th place. No-one has won it from 5th or 6th. As the table looks just at the moment IMO the best possible that we could hope for is 3rd place, and that is going to require a real change from our results so far.

Our record against Sydney in the City era is pitiful - 2W-4D and 7L. By far our worst record against any of the clubs.

It's a mistake to rely on the mid-season transfer window for a dramatic change in fortunes, especially this season when the FFA condensed so many matches into January to give the ACL clubs a better chance in that competition, leaving us to play just 10 matches with our two new players.

We were very thin in the forward line going into the season, and on top of that we certainly didn't need the suspension of Fornaroli or the departure of O'Halloran. We've shot ourselves in the foot with the former situation - entirely self-inflicted.

Hoping for the best, but realistically I think we'll finish 5th or 6th.

We had plenty of forwards at the season start, but bizarrely they were nearly all No 10s. Then we ostracise 2 of the few that weren’t No 10s, making the situation even worse.

So now we are trying to play catch-up.

Goung to be tough today. With wales up front I’m predicting 2-0 to the original smurfs.

Oh awesome.

we are playing in tards colours now.

Why is Florian on the wing again?

Have we even got a winger on the books? And where is Najjar? Give up mate. Joyce has no fucking idea. He went into this to get a 0-0 draw and now that's gone we have nothing to bring on to chase the game.
