I have said from the start the squad and players we have almost requires a back three to get the best out of it. This is the only way I see us getting out best players into the starting XI Sorenson/Bouzanis Franjic Malik/Chapman Jackobsen Kilkenny Kamau Brattan Colazo Brandan Cahill Fornaroli Now we all know that the weakness of a back three is being attacked from out wide, but you would hope that we would work out a way to counter that with the same formation. Id rather be a club that is proactive and has a constant formation, but tweaks it to counteract tactics that try to exploit weaknesses. Just throwing it all out and change formation completely just because the opponent has found a weakness is reactive and weak imo. Yes yes I know JVS but he issnt going to be here next season so its about time they make him take a back seat because there is no point chopping and changing again next season. You look at the last two champs. Adelaide started a system under Gombau and tweaked it when Amour came in but it was a very similar style and tactics. VIctory under Ange had a system and style, Muscat came in and tweaked it and then they won the double. Arnold is in his third season and they are undefeated and look unstoppable.
