I'm expressing my moral superiority by saying that you are a racist for using black hands as a representation of all black people being rude and vulgar and I can tell by this gesture you are also a mysogynist, xenophobic and a trump supporter. I should start a rally against you to show just how my much I am more moral superior than you.

By thinking that way you're a racist. Definetly a trump supporter

Looks like Spiranovic will be playing in the Chinese Div 2. Wouldn't mind us going for him next season.

------------------Bouzanis-------------

-------Tonyik--Jakobsen--Spira?----

-Franjic-----------------------------Visa-

------------------Kilkenny-----------------

--------Caceras---Marquee Visa------

Visa---------Fornaroli--------Brandan

Bench: New GK,  Fitzy, Malik, Cahill, New Sqaudie

Reserves: Sozer, Arzani, Genreau, Kuzi, New A-League journey man.

My predictions: We'll announce a championship winning international coach a month after we get knocked out in the Semi. We'll sign Caceras. Kamau to go overseas (pre-maturely).  Muscat, Rose, Sorenson, Gameiro, Retre to leave/retire.  Brattan to leave to Asia.

Interesting, but most likely agent talk. Remember how Georgievski "wanted"  to join us before he resigned for victory.

IMO the Jakobsen situation is such that we really must focus on our defence this coming off-season. I'm assuming that we'll replace Gameiro and Kuzi, and we'll need to replace Nico Colazo with another genuine left-footed marquee, but otherwise our midfield and forward stocks are pretty good. But the defence is paper-thin; neither Jakobsen nor Franjic can be relied upon for more than one game at a time.

This could be a decent signing if it comes off. (Only Twitter though, don't get too excited) but seems to have a decent pedigree and is captaining his club now. Seems to be a LB/CB?

Would take. Thoughts?

It's D' Apuzzo. Can't see him as being anything special. If Wikipedia is correct, has played 89 matches in 6 years or so. Possibly he could come in as a Mature Aged Rookie and therefore outside the salary cap. IMO we need to do better as our first choice LB.

I doubt he'll be first choice.

This thread has gone a little quiet but I'd be absolute shattered if the club don't do everything it possibly can to get ninkovic from sydney, believe he's open to leaving Sydney and should be one of our number 1 targets in my opinion

Rather have Nico Martinez.

Although I wouldn't want Ninkovic, it would be great for us to poach him from Sydney and show our "strength" and also weaken the competition. But as the squad sizes are small and of course he would want marquee pay its not worth it.

Our priorities should be the defence. And only then once our new manager is on board. The last thing we need is another "get him because he's available" off-season. That's how we ended up with a lop-sided squad this season.

But we're literally talking about the best player in the league in what happens to be a problem position for us

Have we lost confidence in CFGs scouting network?

They have had a pretty good hit ratio. Just the local aquisition have been a bit more of the mark.

I think with another season under their belt it will be their best yet.

I agree. Hence why I said in another thread that I wouldn't be against getting another Visa Goal Keeper to replace Sorenson at season's end.  With Cahill under the cap and Colazo gone, it would be great to see us go for one big name (John Terry guest marquee? ) and hopefully a gun player from a smaller league for marquee who finished the previous season on like 10 assists and 5 goals that we'll pay a transfer fee for.

Some Random Names.

Marko Gobeljic http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marko-gobeljic/profil/spieler/196961

Robinho http://www.transfermarkt.com/robinho/profil/spieler/75833

Fábio Espinho http://www.transfermarkt.com/fabio-espinho/profil/spieler/114130

José Manuel Jurado http://www.transfermarkt.com/jose-manuel-jurado/profil/spieler/28261

AFAIK the FFA's "guest marquee" is for one season only, and won't apply in future. Of course, FFA could re-instate the option next season. We will have room to replace Colazo, but I really see that the priority must be a completely new back four. Jakobsen seems injury-prone, and Muscat and Tongyik aren't starters IMO, and Rose should be gone.

For me, if it's the "right" Visa player then it doesn't matter what their preferred/specialist position is. But for me Visa players need to be starting XI - it's crazy to have have 2-3 of your Visa players sitting on the bench.

IMO there's a lot of work to be done on the squad this off-season - much more than I had thought would be the case.

Totally.

But all this transfer speculation and what could should happen is rather pointless without a new coach.

Previously I was supportive of Valkanis for the rest of the season but I'm leaning towards a change sooner rather than later.

Didn't realise that about the Guest Marquee, just shows a typical FFA procedure.

I agree with Visa players that they should all be starting XI but I also think that all 5 visas should atleast be in the top 30 players in the league. This is why I would like CFG to go for inform players in smaller leagues (probaly on small wages) and pay a transfer fee.

I have faith that there is a coach already lined up, if not a short list no more then 3. I'm worried that since CFG will be wanting to play their style, they'll find a coach who has agreed or shares the same style as them. In this case I wouldn't be surprised if it's CFG who look for certain players to fit their system rather then the new coach.

Seeing his possible falling out with the tards, I am throwing the idea of  FAHID Ben Khalfallah's value to us. He is a quality quality and experienced A- league player so worth a look for next season I would say.

Pass, I think we have enough wide players on our list
