Play for the win.

The only way is to create chaos, get Sydney out of their preparation and have them throwing their playbook out.

Good team announced. Plus the guys coming back have last week on their legs now.
Very winnable game.

Last season, yes. Mind you, it won't be until Aslan returns that we'll have our best 11 available for selection this season (hoping for no injuries today).

We aren’t great to watch are we.

We compress the field when we are attacking; stretch the field when we defend😡

We have a non-existent press and this puts constant pressure on our back four.

We never play forwards when we can play backwards

Talbot also needed to come out and put pressure on Courtney Perkins, not every full back shoots and puts it into row Q like he does

Most certainly, but he had no protection at all. He should have closed, but it was poor all round really.

So close, a good opportunity that.

How many fouls against us before a yellow ref?

We seem to be under instructions to sit deep, not press at all, and leave the wide spaces for Sydney players to do what they want with no pressure at all

I'm seeing it pretty similar as well, Tilio is pressing and Leckie usually ends up following, otherwise nada.

We certainly seem to want to compress the midfield.

I'm liking the Chilean.

He looks great.

Young - good, would be 3 or 4 behind without him

Fernandez - promising

Leckie and Tilio - look like they are at least trying to do something

The rest - shit

We have no midfield to speak of: not covering the back 4, not opening up the field for the attackers

I'm thinking that the rest of this season is about agreeing who to get rid of, and maybe working out which of the kids are worth persisting with. I've regretfully come to the conclusion that Maclaren needs to move on, I suspect with the manager he has fallen out with. Nuno is past it and Ugarkovic isn't good enough. Suspect at least one of Leckie or Nabbout will retire. Not convinced by Talbot and I suspect Galloway will also move on. Too early to say on Jeggo. Tilio unlikely to stay. Shorter list probably of the players I would keep...

Ugarkovic ain't good enough. There is a reason he's only ever played for shit teams.

You can add Talbot to that list too!

Probably why he's best rated of the City players on Fotmob...

Shows how shit everyone else is when a LB is your best player
