Was hoping for the Western Sydney Wankers to get thoroughly spanked. Hmmmmm

I'd like to see them progress tbh, it's good seeing the Aussie clubs do well in the ACL irrespective of how much I might hate them throughout the A-League season.

That'd be a nightmare, agreed.

But it'd be good if they made the final imo, plus we need Australian clubs to do well if we want to keep our 3 spots in the tournament.

Saba is an absolute cunt of a bloke. Cannot wait to spray that filthy diving brazilian stain when he gets to AAMI.

And Tomi Juric. He is just that fuckwit from primary school that would hog the ball and take all the credit for a team goal. He pissed me off when he was pushing people away when he scored in All Stars game, and then tonight claiming a goal that wasn't his. Your a hero. Arrogant and selfish dog.

Apart from these 2 dogs, glad the WSW have the advantage going into 2nd leg, good to have an Oz team do well.

someone care to explain what happend with saba? haha

Was on for 20 minutes, got a yellow card for a shit tackle and probably should have gotten a 2nd for another shit tackle, backchatted the ref various times and did the infuriating finger waggle 350 times and pretended he got kicked in the face by a Guangzhou player and rolled around like a sausage on a barbie, which earnt the guy a red.

Seems like a right fuckwit already.

Saba was brought on with Popa's instruction to irritate Guangzhou's player. Look at what Saba did, unnecessary tackle, dirty talk, etc

BTW, West Sydney is shit this year, Saba is not as good as Hersi or Ono

dirty talk can be fun, it will be a very up and down year for the wanderers but i have not seen enough of Saba to know how good or bad he is

When you go there then you will quickly realise that the shithole that is West Sydney is not part of Australia.

Hate wsw but I like seeing aus teams do well in asia

I'll never understand this attitude, can't see how a hatred of a club can change when they play in a different competition. It's not like they can win a final anyway and I get to watch more a-league on TV.

I knew you would understand mate.

Its like these idiotic WCE fans (And a small even more annoying minority of Freo fans) who say they support the WA teams first against all others...

In a lot of countries around the world opposing supporter groups support each other when playing internationally. Its a reflection on you as a league and as a country.

I think it's logical in continental competitions in Europe because the coefficients another team collects could be the difference between your team playing in a continental competition or not in the future.

The AFC bases their distribution of continental places on a lot more than just performance and there isn't an obvious direct effect on a league's continental places like in Europe, so there really isn't as much reason to support WSW or AU or whoever in the ACL as you would have in Europe.

That being said though, the AFC is not gonna give Australia more spots unless teams from the A-League start getting to the nitty gritty of the competition.

Fuck that...

As I have said before I would not support MVFC if they were playing the Japs on ANZAC Day.
