  2. Even though nothing has come out of it, Tilio’s first touch and ball control is very good.

  3. Man, seriously no chance were not winning the semi. We will beat either Brisbane or Adelaide and most likely play Sydney at home in the granny. Tonight's draw was exactly what we needed. We got the jest to get our shit together, a week off then a semi. Im full of confidence, everyone just chill and have faith in how we actually got in this position. We got the seat simples.

  4. There's no question that Sydney have the momentum. They have won their last 5 matches, our last 5 see two wins, two draws and a defeat. We started to lose our momentum with the match against Phoenix, when we conceded a late goal, IMO PK erred in his approach to the match in Brisbane, and if VAR was against us today in the Victory match it was on our side against Central Coast. The Elimination Finals are Central Coast vs. Macarthur, and Brisbane vs. Adelaide. I'm tipping that Central Coast and Brisbane will run out winners there. If so, we will play Brisbane, and Sydney will play Central Coast. With the availability of players as it is, I'm afraid I see the Grand Final being between Sydney and Brisbane, and Sydney to win it. Whatever the season finally delivers, let's not forget that we've had a good one, and it's not been easy for anyone in Melbourne, including footballers. We are the Premiers, we've qualified for the Group stage in the 2022 ACL, we've played some delightful football, scored a bagful against the unmentionables, brought up some good young players, and Jmac will win the Golden Boot.

  6. The VAR lines were not drawn correctly. The last corner should never have been allowed to be taken. Happy to draw to Newcastle after that ending!

  7. I was actually emphasising how our 19 year old make-shift #9 has been better than 10 retards (Acton not included) combined :-D

  8. I hope we are going to take it easy on him as he’s bringing some excitement to the game. We seem to be perfectly fine with Jmacs poor conversion rate.

  9. Pride comes before a fall. IMO people are being far too cocky about this match, and the Newcastle one if it ever takes place.

  10. Newcastle game just ended in draw. Which means MV have to beat us outright or they get a special form of silverware. They have their name written all over it. What an epic way to finish the home and away rounds.

  11. We could target Amini to replace Luna and Berenguer in central midfield and he is currently Australia as he has just recovered

  12. We shouldn't even be in lockdown let alone have it extended. But with these incompetent picks in government who knows...

  13. The only thing that fucks up my positivity is if the lockdown extends and our finals are moved to Sydney, could happen but hopefully not.

  14. Sucks, but we deserve this for being arrogant enough to send Najjar on loan without bringing in any replacement back-up strikers. Shame Nabbout's still injured as he's shown he's okay as a central forward, but we're really not the same team without a clinical poacher type like Maclaren. Ahhh well, still an amazing season and we might still get lucky yet.

  15. Literally just put it up mate, only just finished the game. Even though lockdown I couldn't watch it live haha

  16. Reckon people should calm down. Victory are useless and we just conceded a goal two minutes past the end of added time to draw 1-1. With five of our best players missing. The problem is obviously that we’ve got one more match to figure out how we can score before it starts to matter. Noone and Colakovski will need to come back. Where are they? Is Nabbout done for the season? He’d be handy.

  17. Whilst I'm pissed off we couldn't seal them the spoon, we should probably stop worrying about that train wreck of a club they have. Let's just win the toilet seat! . . . . . and let's draw against the Jets to give the filth their first spoon

  18. You have to take your chances if you want to win matches, and we've wasted a lot this season. However, 42 of our goals this season have been scored by players not able to play today.

  19. Yeah, feels a bit like a loss but when you sit back, it doesn't take away from the amazing season we're having and just how shit the fukheads are. On the offside, when Foxtel finally showed the lines, it was only millimetres. Of more interest to me was the ball looked like it has already left our passing player's foot, by a good foot.

  20. Hahahaha Fark off, was really looking forward to whitewashing those filthy cunts this season. Melb Heart lives on!

  21. Not to be too negative right after but I just can't help take in the fact we lost our previous game and bottled this one completely, not really the momentum we want going into finals. As much as losing or drawing next week would put victory bottom, I'd rather a win to change this sight downturn in results.

  22. Honestly we are playing some beautiful football tonight.

  23. Geez our passing - especially out of defense when under pressure - is a marvel to watch this season!

  26. I guess the positive is that we have a relatively experienced back eight, and our front three is full of youth, enthusiasm and pace. I'd rather that than have the inexperience at the back.

  28. If Luna can't bring his family here, why would you want to stay any longer? I would say let both Luna and Berenguer go, combine their earning and get a visa midfielder a level up from both of them.

  29. How can you be cocky about a match (against Newcastle) you intend to deliberately lose? Here's an idea. Why don't we simply forfeit the final match against Newastle? Its crazy to play the match after the finals and in any event forfeiting can be justified due to the situation in Victoria and on cost grounds. That would give 3 points to Newcastle which guarantees Victory the spoon. Even if they won the derby it would make no difference. .

  30. Glover Atkinson, Reis, Good, Jamieson O'Neil Tillio, Metcalfe Leckie, Maclaren, Nabbout Bench Sutton, Galloway, Garrucio, Griffiths, Gormluka, Colakovski, Najjarine This would be scary for next season

  31. It's a very much disappointing news. But with the current quarantine policy in place, no ongoing international participation is possible. On the other hand, there is an issue with the club's minimal communication towards the members. This one hurts all the time.
