Makes it hard. One of the best system s I’ve seen is the AFL coaches points. Coaches normal have a fair idea where they won or lost a game. Dont disagree with any of that, but theres also a lot of fans who wouldnt understand what was tactically happening a game either, even some of us that profess to know what were talking about I agree that the coaches player in the AFL is arguably the best award in terms of reflecting actual performance although id suggest there still a case that defenders can get slightly overlooked, especially when it comes to the opposition. We are in furious agreement. A lot of fans have only the very vaguest idea of what is required to win a football match. Many don’t even grasp what is involved in scoring of a goal, let alone anything else. Forums like this, full of hardcore football nuts, tend to have a decent grasp, but that’s what 5% of the fan base?

Moderators can we have these issued a warning and suspension as furious agreements on this forum are completely alien to the spirit and principles of the forum. 😁 2

Looks like the CSL house of cards is collapsing.
jw1739
"Beware strangers bearing gifts." It's a warning for all leagues and clubs around the world. I want to see the game stick to its strategic knitting and live within its means, and not get sidetracked away from the basics. It's a spectator sport, and once we start to drift away from that IMO that's when the trouble starts. Forget all this other shit that people go on about. Harrison
Is is too early for him to come back? He’ll be 31 by the time the next season starts so it’s not unrealistic. If he comes back hopefully it’s to us rather than WSW.

IMO the problem is that the CFG chequebook is closed and locked in a safe and no-one knows the code to open it. 3

Deluka
Imagine how big it would be for the club if he came home to Melbourne, this would bring so many people back through the door imo - the fact his thread has 67 pages is nuts relative to the other player threads.
