We weren't prepared to enter a bidding war over him (one of our club mantras). So he went. Can't blame him really. Footballers have a pretty short career. Goodwin and Flores at least in the last close season. At least now the salary cap has been covered with the new TV deal we might find ourselves competing for players. Also with additional sponsorship we can compete for players like David Beckham. As I have said elsewhere, something needs to change at Melbourne Heart FC. Outside of goodwin every other young talented player that has come along we have signed and been able to maximise their talents (beich, eli ext) The club are allowed to make mistakes FFS. I also believe that the decision was out of our hands in a sence, because wasn't he close to Milicic, and cause he went to newy Goodwin followed him? Goodwin is a dickhead anyway. Wouldn't take him if he was available IMO His attitude does seem be a major problem... he would def make a better option at LB than bloody Ramsey (Hardly hard of course) but he seems to hell bent on only being played as a Winger. Well one good game at LB is something that Ramsey does not look like coming close to offering us...
