Hughes is a complete flop - the guy has pretensions of playing in the Euros but can't get on the field for us - complete waste of a visa place IMO. I would guess that Paddy is out for up to six weeks, and an achilles possibly signals the end of his career. We have relied far too much on ageing players. With ten matches to play we're not out of contention for anything, but I would say tonight will have firmed up CFG's view that JvS is not the coach who can take us to silverware and Asia. I still believe we can get into Asia it was clear tonight we are the second best team in the league at the moment but I agree need a quality cbn, and franijc and zullo need to pick up their game.
