MTP
Has apperently played his last game for sydney FC after a spat with Frank Farina on the training pitch. Source - Brenton Speed SIGN HIM UP!!!!
mus-28
I reckon he may end up at CCM, shot at winning the league, ACL, gets to stay in NSW close to family. And he isn't chasing money, so would be available on the cheap. That being said, I would absolutely love him at MH. Absolute class footballer. Source - Brenton Speed SIGN HIM UP!!!! Wow really??? were there any more details on the matter?? He's to good of a player to simply just let go over a training spat. mus-28
Frank Farina has a bit of a reputation for being a fickle bastard, not the most popular bloke amongst guys that have played under him. And he's a bit of a shit bloke in general.
lozzyx
Adam peacock just asked Frank in the post match interview if culina would play for them again, pretty much flat out said no. Lol

Lol Was expecting him to deny it with the old media spin etc, but got straight to the point. See ya later Jason

HeartinHobart
Yeah cullina has been one of Australia's best holding midfielders in 20 years. Quite simply though with the signing of Meeuwis his not what the heart need. My pick though Partaluu gone. Roar looks an ideal fit.
Peter
All speculation. I was rebuked pre-season for saying we should give him a go - apparently his knees aren't up to it. I would still like to see him at our club, Dutch midfielder or not. Culina is a quality midfielder, can play either defesively or more in attack. He has a pass that can open up a defence which I believe is something we need. And he scores goals. Are his knees up to it?
Shahanga
He'd be an injury risk, but is a class act and as Peter noted above can play anywhere in midfield. You'd think seriously about signing him thats for sure, if you could be confidnet he was still the player he used to be. Bizarre story though. Am shocked that a couple of pros would have a fall out like that. Anyone been watching the Scum games and knows how Culina was travelling? Attack11
Would be great to get Jason at the club he is a great professional and after a long lay off with a career ending injury he was able to come back and make an instant impact for Sydney FC. He would put heaps of pressure on Thommo and we all no he needs it. Sign him for now and next season...

Red or Dead
That's not a signing - that's a re-signing - big difference!
Attack11
The signing of Culina would not take the place of one of our younger players, it would be a straight replacement for Thomson. Imagine Culina and Germano in central midfielder both tackle, both win there own ball, both create and both score, then add N. Kelma in front ... Now that gives me much more confidence than what we currently have with Thomson there... Do you agree???

I think we will play similar to that but with Marcel at DM, along with a Kalmar/Fred and Germano/Thompson Culina would have been an option until we made the 3 month marquee signing, he would still add though and be better in this combination than most of Thompson

harps21
If what has been reported is true, which is Farins told Culina he is on the bench this week and he cracked the shits then I don't want him anywhere near us He thinks he is bigger than the team which tbh is bullshit
Pandev
Nope. He went livid about Farina's media message - fitness/injury concerns. To culina's credit, he wouldn't want any manager falsifying the facts. He'd be far better than Thompson IMO

Attack11
Transfer window for the A-league closes on Friday. Will anyone at the heart make a statement here or in the media if we are going to sign him or not... He could be the X factor in our run to the finals... natalie182
John Aloisi just said on SEN that we won't be signing him, at least for this season. Cause we have Fred and Kalmar already in that position. Fair enough.
mulhollanddrive
And the Dutchman. Our ability to sign good players is top rate, everything else not so much.
