We asked JVS at the family day yesterday about Brattan coming to us. He said he definitely likes him as a player but he won't be coming to Melbourne City for now because we don't have room in the salary cap. But he did say it might be an option in the future. Sounds like him signing for Man City is quite likely though.

Obviously Jaliens worked out well in the end, but I asked JVS after the game why he played him. He said that Safuwan didn't train all week due to a slight injury and that Hoffman is just a bit shaky. You spelled "bollocks" incorrectly. However, there's a long time to go until October, so the next couple of months will be rumour and speculation, although the WC isn't going to help. Those in Melbourne need to keep their eyes and ears peeled, not just what is said, but what isn't. Remember we have an FFA Cup game in early August so you would think most things should be sorted by then.

This is the reporter who wrote a story saying Liverpool were buying Victory because the Victory Chairman or CEO or someone went on a trip to Liverpool. He's an idiot.

Despite the mostly crappy results and bad form, I have loved having a local (professional) football team to support and be able to see live every second week. I also made the decision to support Heart before they were called Heart or it was announced they'd be red and white, so would be a bit silly to give up now, as much as I love red and white. I'd stay in, but yes, would take a while to get used to. I would also continue wearing my current red and white Heart gear to games.

Some have walked away, but there was a large march/protest before the Liverpool game a couple of weeks ago and I noticed at the West Brom game on the weekend pretty much everyone in the away area was wearing blue and they were singing 'we'll always be blue'. They definitely haven't accepted it.

Apparently there was an article in the Herald Sun hard copy today about our name/colours changing. Did anyone see it?
