rass
There is temporary fencing around half the Latrobe field at the moment which is extended through to some of the student car parking. Looks quite new. There was some digging happening mid pitch on the other half of the fields with a few utes cruising around the place. Didn't look too busy but obviously something is happening down there...

Murfy1
in the articles that have today's announcements, it says that this club is "Based at La Trobe University" (http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/melbourneheart/news-display/City-Football-Group-Confirms-Name-Change-To-Melbourne-City-FC/90757). So I reckon that's where the team will train, starting next week.
Pandev
Would love to see Villa in a wheelie bin. In all honesty the club will have ordered a few ice baths by now.
Jimmy
I was talking to Nicky Kalmar at the end of last season and he told me the first thing city did was buy them actual ice baths and hire a dietitian who prepares players individual meals. jw1739
have any other a league clubs started their pre seasons? Probably not. No-one else will go to their overseas training base in July and play a Championship and League One team while they are there either... Dylan
Here is my prediction. Etihad as sponsor on the shirts and Westpac to be moved to the shorts. Probably explains why the training tops are blank as they might not have worked out all the details yet. marn11
Reckon I saw Steve Kuzmanovski in that training video. If we have snared him and Marc Marino, we will have two of the very best players for their age in the country. Immense potential.
