You might as well play the matches on a computer simulation if you're going to bring in all this technology. IMO the technology has ruined tennis, cricket and rugby league so far. Don't want it in football thank you very much.

"all this technology"

isn't it solely for goal-line ball confirmation? thats one piece of technology imo and prevents shit like the england world cup fuckery a fewyears back

Nope. The goalline stuff is completely fair enough and I think a good thing. However they're talking about video referees for other incidents throughout the match such as Carney's handball in the lead up to the goal vs Victory

Colazo ?

The 21-year-old attacker confirmed Argentinian winger Nicolas Colazo was close to a return after suffering a perforated ear drum.

"He's back in training with the boys so hopefully he'll be out there as soon as possible," he said.

Perhaps off the bench but i'd say more likely next week off the bench and starts in the ffa cup final.

Jus confirmed in his presser that he is out this week and hoping to be involved in the wellington game

Over 21k tickets have been sold for this one, expecting close to a sellout.

That's interesting.  Brisbane had 20k and 4 to 6k was put down to the Cahill factor. Maybe same for Wanderers.

Then you relate that back to our homes games and wonder wtf is going on. Ok every one has a series of reasons but what has to happen to draw a big home game.

If Messi signed id be surprised if we would get more than 15k.

Novelty factor,  he is going to be there for the first time.  I'd love to know how many turned up to the Etihad derby just for cahill,  and won't be back again

Well it's not rocket science, that particular derby crowd was only marginally higher than previous Etihad derbies

Santalab out with a calf. Big blow to the NRMAWSW.

Think we'll line up with:

                             Bouzanis

Franjic            Malik             Jakobsen     Muscat

             Brattan                  Kilkenny

                                Cahill

Kamau                 Fornaroli             Brandan

SUBS: Sorensen  Fitzgerald  Caceres  Rose  Retre

Think 2-0 tonight, they'll sit back but dont have a defence anywhere near the quality of Brisbane or Perth.
