Like you say, Perth had 10 men, so they played defensive from then on. Today newcastle played defensive cause they know they;'re the underdog. Again, it comes down to tactics. Of course with guys like Mooy, Novillo, and Fornaroli they are going to score for fun just off their individual abillity when the game is open. But when the other team is playign defensive, we actually need tactics to get goals, and we don't cause JVS. He's playing more as an attacking mid but we need him deeper atm. Instead of Kisnorbo and Malik passing to each other before hoofing it long.
