MaliMate
Carlton, Adelaide, West Coast and even Essendon to an extent can finish anywhere between 5-13 IMO, they're the hardest to predict for me ATM. Richmond & North won't be top 4 and will finish 7-12 despite what many in the media are predicting. Also wouldn't be surprised if the Dogs finish 9-12.
MaliMate
You're a good bloke MaliMate Although I can't see Ballas kicking more goals than Walters Just feel like he's got a chip on his shoulder this season and seems like the type who loves proving people wrong. Won't be surprised to see him kick 3-4 if they make the granny this year. Also just love the bloke for his general trolling ability.

PPL in the media always predict a bit with their heart prior to the Season, often hoping for new challengers to rise or clubs without recent flags to remain contenders. These was never more evident than prior to 2011 where many predicted the Dogs and Saints as major contenders and Geelong to really drop off because we had lost Ablett and Bomber... the rest is history. hedaik
The buzz team with the Media this preseason is def North Melbourne FWIW. Logic would suggest they'll improve on last season as they surely won't lose all their close games again, but it's hard to get them into my top 8. Coleman Medal - Michael Barlow ???? Even if Barlow did get the opportunity to kick at goal 100 teams for the year, he'll only convert 10 of them.
MaliMate
I can see us (Essendon) having a terrible season. Doesn't seem like Bomber has his heart in it fully, missing an integral part of our team (Bellchambers) for our first few games which are some of our hardest for the season, can't genuinely rely on Ryder as much as I wish we could. Can see the long term effects of all the drugs we took hampering our ability and I just generally don't have a positive vibe like I did the last 2 seasons. Fingers crossed I'm completely wrong. Embee
1 Fremantle 2 Hawthorn 3 Sydney 4 Collingwood 5 Geelong 6 North Melbourne 7 Adelaide 8 West Coast Eagles 9 Port Adelaide 10 Essendon 11 Richmond 12 Carlton 13 Gold Coast 14 Western Bulldogs 15 Melbourne 16 Brisbane Lions 17 GWS Giants 18 St Kilda I'm a Collingwood supporter so there's a bit of heart in my prediction for us to get into 4th. We've got a pretty tough draw, especially our early games but I think Vardy (season), Motlop (6 weeks?) and Christensen (not sure) are big losses for Geelong and may cost them early. If we miss out it could just as easily be to West Coast, North or Adelaide as it could be to Geelong. I like the Roos and think they'll improve, especially since they're draw isn't too difficult (I think the only top 4 side from last season they play twice is Geelong), Adelaide and West Coast are also in a similar bucket for me. Premiers - Fremantle Brownlow Medal - Nat Fyfe Coleman Medal - Jarryd Roughead Rising Star - Jack Martin Bold Prediction - Dayne Beams to poll more Brownlow votes than Pendlebury. perthheart
I'm glad ill be moving out of the state at the beginning of September. Last year with Freo making the grand final was unbearable. I support West Coast. However, generally when either of the two West Australian teams are doing well the bullshit that comes out either set of supporters mouths is some of the most brain dead shit you will ever hear. All this from supposedly educated people's mouths. Funny that moving to Melbourne will actually enable me to watch a west coast game live. I don't think I've been in about 8 years now. MaliMate
Brisbanes midfield is as good as most teams (Rockliff, Zorko, Leunberger, Rich, Aish) around the 5-12 mark, shouldn't have got rid of Karnezis who goes alright, just a matter of how the new coach goes but honestly wouldn't surprise me if they finished 9-12. sikre
How people think that the mighty tiges won't make the top 6 let alone top 8 is beyond me. So much room for improvement from last year and were still only 1 game out of the 4. Hawks look the goods for the flag again but I also think the cats will give it a good shake if they keep all their best players fit
