ROFL - I read this and thought of one word: Perth. Mate over there was constantly being called "gay" by good mates at school because I voiced the following progressive thoughts at the Bus Stop: Aboriginals at least might deserve some extra benefits, Perth Public Transport should be promoted more and definitely improved, Immigration was in general a good thing, And worst of all that perhaps driving a car other than a Commodore could be a choice a man could be made in life. And the funniest thing about the above is that I went to actually went to one of the state's better private schools so I was supposedly hanging around some of the better educated Year Twelve students as well and not only that I was biggest rusted on Liberal in my Politics Class. Which is that the only parties that will ever form the major nucleus of any Federal Government are those that are Moderate Political Parties (The ALP and The Coalition Parties). The parties who in the grand scheme of things have a lot more common with each other than with those PPL you see on the fringes of the political spectrum who need to use outlets such as protests, social media and tee shirts to get across their Political Messages. This is because that most people who actually have a reasonable sense of Intelligence and a Political Brain usually work out pretty early on that if they want to make an Political Change to this country they need to be in one of these moderate parties capable of actually forming Government. You can do a lot more in Government than Screen Print Tee Shirts. And more importantly because as a Collective Group luckily Australian's are not idiots and they can tell when somebody is pushing things too far and therefore tend to vote the other way. Have a look at the history of the people organising these rallies and tell me that these people aren't deserving of criticism. Have no problem with well thought out ideological positions being pushed forwards from either side of the spectrum but this is not the case with any of these people.
