mulhollanddrive
What's the question if Liam Miller is the answer.
mus-28
Does he know we play with contact and you are allowed to pressurize your opponent and occasionally tackle them?
stewmac
Fitting in nicely to our team of spuds
rayv36
We better not sign this bloke in January, would rather keep Kalmar tbh.

Thrillhouse
seen enough to think he better only be a injury replacement player (could be all season for germano) doesn't move it forward and passes are so weak it doesn't even reach the player
Cityamatic
Thought he went OK last week but was really an empty jersey out there tonight, not good enough
Jake
Was better last week. Clearly got complacent securing the six week contract.
MaliMate
Perfect fit. Doesn't want to run back, points at other players, couldn't give a fuck what happens as long as he gets another chance at extending his contract. 10 year deal and captaincy pls. Parrot
He wasn't good enough at Roar this season and asked to leave... Now in just his second game with us he is replaced at half time. Surprised anyone? Melling should be starting instead of Miller. Liam Miller is also not good enough for a visa player.
Melburnian
How JVS started him over Melling was staggering.
jw1739
Thought he was a good pick-up, but how wrong I was. Barely shows any interest in the game at all. Another dreadful decision by management.
gunheart
Play Melling and Mauk, Miller can piss off.
NewConvert
I wonder whether the one week he has been at the club just drained him or whether Roar realised where his head was at and released him knowing that someone (read City) will pick him up. Yeah, I'm the other side of the ground, one of those just behind the City bench. By God there were a number of Prem A members there last night giving van 't Schip plenty. Was there any reaction from him? I am on the other side and it was all Wielaert with that scuffle on the sydney bench. The Sydney player gave back the ball eventually and Weilaert pushed him off the chair anyway haha
silva10
What's the question if Liam Miller is the answer. Is he better than Murdocca? Is it better to have an extra player when you have a player out injured? I would say yes to both.......but obviously would prefer a better player.
strider
Tbh would rather Melling starting and getting game time over Miller (aka Murdocca 2.0)
mus-28
Murdocca > Miller. At least Mass gives a shit and puts effort in. Miller produced the most insipid 45 minutes of effort in this clubs history on Saturday. And I've seen a lot of shit, gutless efforts since day 1. markn
Someone has to be held responsible for this rubbish signing. I too thought he was going to be a good player (but at the time questioned his attitude following his fall out at Road). This guy does not have it. At least he didn't cost us anything - bar a poor performance.

Player plays for contract-->impresses->gets contract-->doesn't give a shit. Our entire squad and coach did that last season.
n i k o
I'm not sure what everyone was expecting, his highlight reel consisted of a goal or two and also where he intercepted his own teams goal from going in. Murdocca at this rate is better because he offers something with his tenacity to run after the opposition.
cadete
He played one alright game and one bad game... I would still play him over Murdocca.
markn
He played one alright game and one bad game... I would still play him over Murdocca. True - but would you play him over Melling?
Dylan
they were only going to sign miller until January. then the transfer window opens and then he leaves. I dont see why everyone is getting so shitty about signing someone for a few weeks as cover. Besides. I think Melling may have just cemented the spot from now on until Koren makes an appearance. cadete
He played one alright game and one bad game... I would still play him over Murdocca. True - but would you play him over Melling? No - But I can see why the club would be reluctant to start Melling considering his strong performances as a sub and not wanting to burnout the kid so early in the Season. Also if JVS does start Melling I would prefer for our CM sub to be Miller rather than Murdocca.
NewConvert
I agree - don't burn Melling. Push him but not burn him.
jw1739
Yes, but against that if you don't give young players enough chance to make it then they will go elsewhere to further their careers.
fiz.heart
Its a no-brainer why Miller was signed cos he perfectly fits the Heart/City mould: A midfielder with shit attitude and stamina that is too scared to take the game on or just doesn't feel like it. Weve had a few similar types: Matt Thompson Andrea Migliorini Nick Kalmar Richard Garcia Love our clubs recruiting.

markn
So he got picked to play in the NYL over the weekend. Which must mean he is only moments away from having a cry and leaving the club. Sounds like good news to come.
SF33
So he got picked to play in the NYL over the weekend. Which must mean he is only moments away from having a cry and leaving the club. Sounds like good news to come. Once Germano comes back, he's gone anyway, isn't he? Unless we actually want to use our last visa spot on him?
jw1739
IIRC he's contracted only until the end of 2014. I'd say we played him in the NYL to keep his fitness up "just in case." After all, Germano can go down at any time. Don't think we would waste a visa place on him, and we have better midfielders anyway.
