Excluding derbies and regional matches, our average home attendances have been: S1: 5849 S2: 6472 S3: 7075 S4: 7255 S5 to date: 9924 Obviously the S5 numbers to date are strongly influenced by the two home appearances of David Villa, but there are all sorts of factors involved in the numbers for all the seasons - days of the week, KO times, weather, competing events, etc. etc. I don't think that as supporters and members we should worry too much about the numbers - let the club do that. IMO considering that this is our fifth season without a hint of silverware it's a bloody miracle that anyone turns up at all. Agreed! You can bring Messi or Ronaldo here but if we are hovering at the bottom half of the table numbers won't increase. It's pretty clear we are just "multiple game ticket holders" to CFG and they own the franchise and make decisions as they feel is warranted and publicise those decisions if it's unavoidable. People don't rock up, it's their fault and their problem. Let's face it you can't convince someone to go to something they've already paid for, you're doing something seriously wrong. Winning is a very strong cataylst for building interest and making people feel positive. We have a long way to go until that is the case though for us. That way Premium A and B members could bring and sit with friends anytime. While the stadium is less than a third full this could be made to work. Thanks for that mate I definitely agree a match during school holidays would be suitable, kids would be wanting to go to the match and there'd be hardly anything preventing them from going, increasing crowds. Apparently they were advertised in the newsletter we receive, the next one is right after the Wellington game, at Edwin's Cafe. But I don't equate a notice in a newsletter to an "invitation" so I think the wording is misleading. It may be a small point, but for me it's the kind of communication shit that needs tidying up by the club.
