Credit where credit is due, some encouraging signs. In particular, our intensity is at a good level, and the team has maintained respectable shape and organisation (although that all crumbled for the goal, and a few other times, in the middle of our team).

We've just done many little things right. Our passing and ball retention has been better than usual, we've generally defended decently and players have positioned well (although we were soft done the middle of our team a few times) and we've looked a bit more threatening than usual going forward. And a few players have stepped up (especially Behich)

But we still have the same old shortcomings: Wasteful long balls, Hoffman looks uncomfortable at RB, Williams can't create chances as a 10, our DMs have fallen a bit asleep in defence (or they haven't coordinated well enough with the back 4) andour set pieces are not good enough (although to be fair our first short corner was good, but too many are bad).

Our usual ugly long ball football with an absent midfield, not compact, no pressing, no second half adjustment as usual by Aloisi. Just another day at the away office. Andy Harper's talking up of what is ordinary ugly football to try and save his mate's job is as transparent as it is nauseating.

Hoffman is staggering and falling about like a drunken sailor.

Usual trouble clearing the ball from defence.

Terribly disorganised defending, no idea, poorly positioned players, no system or plan to defend and pass the ball into attack. No midfield as usual

Sitting deeper and deeper...

Only a matter of time.

It's good to see some energy from the players  but it doesn't compensate for an absence of plan and organisation.
