UOTYH; Jordy Hurdes the kid who had a bad reaction to ecstacy has taken the wrong approach with his message. He's pushing a "say no to drugs its not worth the risk message." What he should be pushing is "holy shit prohabition has put me in this situation the government needs to reassess drug policy."

The only reason this kid had a bad reaction is because the drugs are made by criminals. If they were regulated and manufactured in a clean environment none of this would have happened.

The say no to drugs message is a load of shit people will always do them regardless of the risk. Make them legal, taxable and clean.

Spot on!

and have an official mcfc van selling them at the games to make them watchable and to take pain away.

at the moment after each game I feel like I just had a bad batch of ice cooked up by a victree meth lab and just want to smash ppl.

where is the love

I am not sure that this opinion is that unpopular because I am finding more and more people are coming around to this point of view. Even the concept of allowing medical marijuana to be grown is quite a shift for the state governments and their corresponding opposition. Under John Cain we had two reports of contention: one was the ability to buy and consume alcohol after 6pm and the other was on the provision of syringes to drug users. The first one was difficult for society to accept but the second one ran right into a massive road block led by Kennet. These days no one is even bothered by either.

Seems more popular than i expected. But my news feed was all "so brave for sharing" "say no to drugs" etc. Worth noting i'd seen half the people sharing it sucking on a CP at 5am or gacked as in the past, but hey social media activism.

One of the few times I can watch footy (well as much as I can stand of the modern crap) on TV during the week so I like it as well as long as it's not Geelong.

What sucks is these Thursday/Friday or Sunday Twilight fixtures in Geelong which makes it really hard for Melbourne based fans to get down there.

Regarding a news story yesterday.

Armed guards "protecting"  Jewish folk outside Jewish schools and now PUBLIC parks where my 2 heirs to the sheepdog throne could potentially be playing, (I live within glen era council), are completely unnecessary, over the top and only add to the heightened sense of alarm within the general community.

Its way over the top, but if you criticise you get called an anti-Semite.

Inb4 I'm an anti-Semite my paternal grandfather was a Jew (it only passes on the mothers side)

I see those guards outside a school (is it Yeshivah College?) in Hotham Street on a regular basis - are they actually armed? And if so how is that allowed? But yes, public open spaces definitely over the top.

Don't worry mate as long as you say you make sure to mention you are "Anti-Zionist", being Anti-Semitic is almost as PC as being Anti-Catholic these days...

I remember some guards like this at a Jewish School when my Junior School played cricket against them in the early/mid 90's... it was probably due to a recent event back then but they have def have been hired by these schools from time to time for ages now.

Yeshivah is one, a few more on balaclava Rd, also Mt scopus on burwood hwy.

100% armed can confirm.

The law states something along the lines of "a guard may be armed to protect PRIVATE property (Jewish schools fall under this) or when transporting large sums of money (n/a here even though we all know they are loaded) which begs the question, how are they allowed to carry a firearm on government land?

This was decided in a secret counci meeting without all councillors present.

I'm so fucking dirty on the cunts.

This reminds me of an incident back in my uni days, I was chatting with my Jewish class mate who happened to wear the kippah. This was a day or so after some flaring up of tensions between Palestine and Israel. The socialist alliance, fronted by the tool who was always leading their idiocy, decided to take it upon themselves to come over and abuse the two of us.

Now I have a sleeve with some blantly Catholic iconography on it but still didn't stop me being called amongst other things an "imperialist yid." All of this in the middle of campus.

Needless to say these fucking twats probably missed the fact that they are at a university named after one of Australia's most prominent Jews and which hosts what many consider to be one of best Jewish centres of study in the country too.

tl;dr popular opinion that I have, socialist alliance are morons.

Well if I was a Zionist I'd want armed guards too tbh.

Now obviously not all Jews are Zionists, but there are plenty of people who seem to draw no distinction between the two, so it makes sense.

Though it's stupid, as I'm pretty confident those security guards are just gonna run off is something serious actually happened.

Interesting though that armed guards are allowed by the law, given there is fuck all provisions in the law for defending yourself/others/property there isn't much point anyway (apart from appearances)?

That does bring up an interesting thought, theoretically couldn't you just walk up to those armed guards that transport money and king hit one holding the money and run off with the money? They can't shoot you when you've only punched one of them

Hi Cadete my friend

Whats on for tomorrow? Doing much on your weekly day off the internet? What's life like when you're going analog in a digital world for 1x a week?

Yes a team paying 1.70 won a game, hardly a huge surprise. Long season to go, should be challenging for top 4 with the squad at his disposal, but he won't be.

What about now?

UOTYH: Most the yeezy boost sneakers are ugly AF if you ask me, but it's ridiculously impressive how my boy Kanye has completely killed the whole sneaker industry, saved Adidas (in the US market),  overtaken Jordan as the king of sneakers, and frankly should have cost every person in Nike's management their job for letting him go.

Adidas headhuntered most of the main designers behind the futuristic Nike shoes of like five/four years ago.

As in the guys behind the Roshe, and Flynit ETC and since then the brand started to make up the ground in the Modern Sneaker Market.

Of course Kayne was still probably a bigger coup but I am sure the Designers now being at Adidas helped his decision.

I never got the appeal and legendary status of air jordans.

Anybody remember the first Adidas kobe's? I remember as a kid staring at them through the glass cabinet at Myer sports for a solid half hour. They were some seriously fresh kicks.

AF1 low tops will forever be GOAT Nike shoe.

Agree on jordans tbh, but I suppose you need to like highs/mids to like jordans and I generally don't.

Prefer the original Huraches... you look at the theme of today's running and leisure shoes and to think that they came out back in 1991 is pretty insane.

The Air Max 95 also deserves a mention and of course the OG Omega Flame.

Louis Theroux is not a great journalist/documentary maker...

Rather a One Trick Pony which is to ask deluded PPL questions in a mocking tone - A tone that the idiots can not pick up on and thus make him look more clever than he actually he is... by making fun of them in very a passive aggressive way.

Hence why you never see him interview anyone close to his own level of intelligence.
