erehe
Is it at all possible, and I'd hate for you guys to do this to it, but to cut it into 3 sections for the three supporter bays? If there is nothing else that can be done, is this a possibility?

HeartinHobart
I've just sent this email to Mr de Bohun and suggest that others consider something similarDear Damian I am writing as a 58 year old general admission season ticket holder of the Melbourne City franchise to express my dismay at the late decision of FFA to ban the proposed Melburnians tifo at this week’s Melbourne derby. I do understand the safety issues and I do understand that there have been instances of ‘derby warriors’ who only attend derby games and who set off flares and smoke bombs in active areas. I believe that this has been used as a reason to ban, at late notice, the proposed tifo display. My concern is that there seems little effort (as an observer at all home games) on behalf of either Vic Police or security to work with active groups to stop this problem. I was appalled at one recent game to witness disproportionate force by Vic Police to deal with a fan standing on a seat that resulted in the use of pepper spray. With reference to this weekend it seems that active support obtained the franchise permission for the tifo and spent $5,000 of their own money constructing it only to have permission withdrawn at the last minute, effectively fining all members of active support who had contributed. This appears to be an arbitrary and selective group punishment of a new supporter group of generally well behaved active young supporters, the very group that provide what is unique about the atmosphere in our game. It appears that both FFA and Vic Police would prefer a sanitised polite but colourless AFL type of joyless support from fans, if this is the case I’ll just watch the games from home. 58? I thought you were dead.

MHFCROB24
As I posted on the Melb city fans Facebook page. If they can display that giant jersey on level 2. Cannot be done up there not on a derby? It's not the same as the terrace of course. But it gives the guys a chance to show off their work. Cannot be done up there not on a derby? It's not the same as the terrace of course. But it gives the guys a chance to show off their work. It wouldn't be possible tonight due to the sell out crowd on level 2. The home jersey wouldn't be up tonight as well. Also, the banner is probably specific to a darby so wouldn't make much sense otherwise.

Dylan
I assume the core has seen the tweet from fox sports football wanting a photo of the tifo?
belaguttman
I assume the core has seen the tweet from fox sports football wanting a photo of the tifo? They can see it by using their influence to allow it to be displayed properly. Fox seems to get what it wants in all other areas of the game

SF33
Was there much/any communication with Victory's NT in the end? Seemed pretty weird that their active support didn't have anything at their end either.
belaguttman
I was interested in the complete uninterest from Police or security when one of the NT visitors ripped a flare during the first half. n i k o
I'm gonna put out a something a bit controversial but the lack of police presence was purposeful hoping things got out of hand between supporters to justify their decisions that football is a dangerous sport for supporters and that more measures need to be taken like not not allowing tifos to be displayed after thousands of dollars have been poured into them the day before the game. All they can have is fence banner for away games at AAMI.

Could have sworn they've had a 'seats are always greener on the other side' one at most of the AAMI derbies that I've been to.
RFC56
I was interested in the complete uninterest from Police or security when one of the NT visitors ripped a flare during the first half. They seem to wait for it to go out before a few security guys bothered to climb the steps. Guess VicPol left the pepper spray at home this week.
