Couldn't agree more with @bt50 and @rass. It seemed to me that threads would often circle back to some certain negative points, no matter the relevance. I'm sure the underwhelming first season under APL and 10/Paramount+ has also played a part. Not sure if it's just me, but I've found that generally the internet and social media have been more negative over the past 2 years.

Great result considering the outs. Going in I had no expectations, but was mostly keen to see the younger boys in the squad get a go.

Been disappointing in his past few appearances. Missed some decent opportunities to assist or get a goal himself. Whether that's the cause or effect of the limited game-time I'm not sure. Hopefully he will turn it around.

He'll surely start on Saturday with Nuno still isolating. Hopefully he can build some form going into ACL. We'll need more than Good and Nuno, and Griffiths is still injured.

Saw him yesterday leaving the stadium. Also saw La Rocca if it's any consolation.

Didn't register to attend, but sent in a question to PK about the clubs disciplinary record and whether anything is being done to address it. We collected the most cards last season (63Y, 4R), and seem to be continuing along the same path. PK himself has a yellow each game too.

Unfortunately, due to our owners "unimaginable wealth" (if I had a dollar for every time I read this line or similar in an article about us, even if it's irrelevant...) we will always be easy targets for click-bait artists who have no idea how the club is actually run and make no effort to find out. I was much more nervous about last game tbh. It was the trademark city 'stumbling block'. I'm more excited to see the team make its first grand final off the back of our best ever season. Hope the boys push til the very end, win or lose.

IIRC, as long as the current deal with fox is valid, there is no independent league. FFA and the clubs didn't want to give fox and excuse to get out of what is a good tv-rights deal, especially given the current circumstances.
