  1. He is certainly keeping that track record intact.

  2. Substitute Tilio; there were a couple of back-pass opportunities that he missed there

  3. Conor Metcalfe scored St. Pauli's fourth in their 4-3 away win at second-placed Holstein Kiel. St. Pauli lead the 2. Bundesliga by six points. A good chance for the lad to be playing in the Bundesliga next season

  4. Early prediction and unpopular opinion here amongst some people on the forum... Pk to be hired as coach next season.

  6. Young - good, would be 3 or 4 behind without him Fernandez - promising Leckie and Tilio - look like they are at least trying to do something The rest - shit

  7. What gets to me is that it is so completely self-defeating. Doesn't football need publicity to continue to exist let alone grow?

  8. It’s not that long ago we had the head of Canberra women’s team bemoaning the entry of Melbourne City into the league because they were a more attractive destination for female players (never mind that they lifted the standard of the league etc). The game seems to have too many people who have this lowest common denominator mindset.

  9. Would take a magician to get this squad to perform well. I’m not just talking ability they seem to be oil and water across the park. The season’s well past half way and they still play like strangers. Two different coaches, same result. I must say I don't understand it.

  10. You are only as good as your current season; if he shows that he deserves the money then I’d be happy to pay him. he has been poor this season; well positioned but most shots to the keeper; offers little out of the box.

  11. In which case drop him. Might as well give Caputo a go. He'll try not to be invisible.

  12. Take the point. Another forgettable disjoint performance. On a brighter note Arslan will be back next week.

  13. Jakolis better do something. Don't have much faith in Lopane.

  15. I'm thinking that the rest of this season is about agreeing who to get rid of, and maybe working out which of the kids are worth persisting with. I've regretfully come to the conclusion that Maclaren needs to move on, I suspect with the manager he has fallen out with. Nuno is past it and Ugarkovic isn't good enough. Suspect at least one of Leckie or Nabbout will retire. Not convinced by Talbot and I suspect Galloway will also move on. Too early to say on Jeggo. Tilio unlikely to stay. Shorter list probably of the players I would keep...

  16. Ugarkovic ain't good enough. There is a reason he's only ever played for shit teams.

  17. Talbot also needed to come out and put pressure on Courtney Perkins, not every full back shoots and puts it into row Q like he does

  18. I know it won’t solve much but can we fuck off Vidmar and give Jamo the reins for the rest of the season.

  19. IMO Joyce is unfairly criticised. He brought some discipline into the club- something that seems to me to be sadly missing now - and he brought some good players to the club via his contacts - De Laet, McCormack, Hendry. I hope that we can find a good overseas coach for next season onwards who can do the same. This season's squad is just so bland.

  21. Think this should be enough evidence to be looking for a new manager.

  22. Or is he trying to make a point not to believe the rumours of him moving on? He has debunked these in the past.
