Irony is delicious of the Tards complaining that a refereeing decision cost them 2 points against Sydney. Must've forgotten that Milligan should've been sent off in the 1st half of their last meeting.

Indeed.

It is my considered opinion that Aloisi will fit in well.  Tards only remember the decisions that they might have got and chances they missed (like Aloisi) and ignore the mistakes in their favour, sheer arse that benefited them (eg defender smashing a clearance into a teammate which cannoned into the goals, reckon you can rely in that happening again, ever?) and sitters missed by their opponents.

Suck it up Tards.  Its just a pity that game couldn't have 2 losers.

hopefully it ruins brisbanes run, now have another catch up game with acl to come aswell

You make a good point, A League teams don't tend to deal with fixture congestion very well. The big advantage we have in the battle for 6th place is (from memory) our decent home record v brisbane, in what will effectively be a six point game

some people saying it could be played on april 15th, they play each other again 3 days later, schedule would look like this

April - 8th suwon bluewings home - 11th adelaide away - (potential catch up vs victory 15th home) - 18th victory  home - 21st beijing guoan home

looking back at season 2011-12 (last time Brisbane made the group stage of the ACL), the Roar did well in the A League but shite in the ACL.  can see them handling it well and can see them handling it poorly

i dont think the congession will be heaps worse this time around, with the only two upsides that they (a.) do have a few extra a league games when they start to play in the ACL group stage and (b.) the league finishes later - since most teams plan to hit their straps come seasons end then i'd expect that Brisbane arent quite their yet / will be mindful of the extra travel.

at this stage, i think the bigger component is our inconsistency.  what Brisbane do wont matter so much should we really turn to shit.
