  1. OK, I was wrong, he's better than Scott Galloway.

  2. Indeed. My impression is that it is easier for a teenager to start in the Premier League than in the A League. Now as to why that would be I’ve no idea, but it seems to be a difficult environment for younger players to get a chance.

  3. The stats and my eyes both say we were the best team. Could have been three. Caputo was excellent. Arslan and Souprayen both had great games.

  4. I can only think the bloke has an issue that means he can’t play out a match. As nothing else explains why he doesn’t start.

  5. The Nix are a defensive unit that play on the counter relying on Old and Barba. I don't think that they have ever had at least 50% of the ball in any game this season. Difficult to breakdown and Poulter is a find. Luck played a lot today - Barba's miss was totally out of character and that save off the line to deny Caputo was unbelievable.

  6. A good win at home at a crucial stage of the season. Congratulations to the players and coaching staff, and the long-suffering fans who attended on a hot evening. Positives: We won, and we won AT HOME😊 We scored a goal We looked fluent in attacking transition, even of our ball movement is still slow and predictable Caputo provided both a target and moved intelligently without the ball to create space. he would have had goals against a less resolute team. Impressed. I’d really love to see Arslan, Leckie, Tilio and Caputo play together Good subs from Vidmar, and brave, if somewhat overdue starting changes. Good games from Regis and Souprayen tonight, even if they are quite a slow central pairing. I hope that we can find a way to keep Fernandez Negatives: We are still too open at the back, there’s too much space between the back 4 and midfield, easily exploited in defensive transition What does Antonio’s have to do to get a start? We need to improve our scoring efficiency, we should have won that game by 2 or 3 goals

  8. I've been waiting on us to announce Iniesta for years, but I've just realised he's been here all season... and he has Antonis on the back of his kit.

  9. Slow defence is a bit scary, Uga did well to get back when they countered. Yeah, maybe that through ball to Jakolis was the best chance near the end of the half.

  10. Caputo looking alot more threatening than Jmac has been of late! How he got to that header beats me! Would have been epic if it went in!

  11. Amazing header from Caputo, I didn't even think he would get to it.

  12. Caputo is good, but no Good or Leckie, on top of Tilio out, is pretty rough. Means we've got Nuno Reis in the heart of defence, which frankly frightens me. Can't see us getting much out of this. Really fear we're watching the end of Matt Leckie's stellar career.

  13. TTIM...people aged over 13 who ride their bikes on the footpath and think that because they ring their fucking bell I should get out of their way...when they shouldn't be on the footpath in the first place.

  14. Indeed, it is that kind of season. But this is where the club has to dig deep and needs to have the Academy with players ready to step up. If you follow the EPL you'll see how Liverpool (and I'm no fan!) have just had to do that, and the teenagers stood up and did the club proud.

  17. It also really depends which scientists you wish to believe regarding the whole "climate emergency" as there are scientists that don't all preach the same message about the current climate "situation" These "extinction rebellion" protesters are fu$king idiots and glad they got thrown in the slamer!

  18. Don't have a good feeling about this one. I said it a few weeks ago now that I think you can definitely write this season off and start focusing on next season. We are going to lose a few players and I feel that you are right @fensaddler in that we are watching the end of Leckies career. Will be interesting to see what happens with Tilio. Rumour has it that this loan was to prove to Celtic he is worth pursuing. So far in the games he has played he only lit it up once and is now injured. Not the greatest for him and for me it's staring to spell Arzani all over again. Really hope the boys can put something together and get the win tonight but I unfortunately have my doubts 😔

  19. Tilio has done his hamstring during training, will be out for at least 4 weeks and will miss the Olyroos. Lecks will be back starting.
