Agree with Libba People who follow Harry's career close are well aware of his management's questionable decision making thought pattern. How much is Harry to blame to most of the issues ? We will never know but perhaps less then some around here think. I see him as a western Sydney boy with basic education who landed in the spotlight very early on. His managers quickly saw a golden goose here and the rest is history. He is mature now and knows very well what he is doing, I have no doubt now, he balances his decision making between emotional need to still play for Australia (his last WC was a disaster) and his family's financial needs. From football perspective, he is the best player this country produced. Lets give him a chance and judge him only for what he does while wearing red and white.

Firs of all, Sopranos > * Now BB definitely up there with the best shows, but comparing it to the wire, for example, where are the characters? Omar, Mcnulty, Clay Davies, and of course possibly the GOAT TV show character, Stringer Bell. There are many more in The Wire as well, and Sopranos had it too, but BB just doesn't have a number of characters on that level.

IMO it's too early to tell whether there is any growth in memberships from last year at all. All we're really seeing so far is that more people have joined up than at the same time last year. It's a moot point whether that is a predictor of what the final number will be. As for the game in Frankston? I really have my doubts as to whether this has anything significant to do with the increase in numbers over the weekend. Possibly some people would have found it expedient to take out a membership at the game rather than on-line or by post or whatever, possibly a few juniors would have signed up because they met Harry, but I'm not sure that you become a member of MHFC because the youth team beat a scratch team of locals 4-1. I found the game itself to be rather bland TBH. No announcements about the team, substitutions, goalscorers etc. - I just happened to be able to recognize some of the Heart players but I would think that anyone not associated with the game wouldn't have been particularly inspired by what was on offer. IMO what we're doing in Shepparton, Frankston etc. is building an awareness of the club. This will benefit both us and the game in the longer-term. I don't think we're playing very exciting football under JA. We don't seem to have anyone who can lift the crowd every time he gets the ball - I think we're hoping the likes of Mifsud can deliver in that respect. I don't resile from the view that the key to our future is delivering excitement, flair, goals, wins, passion, spectacle, etc. at AAMI. This is what will cause someone to decide "I wan't to be a part of that"; all the rest will feed off that in the building of the club in the longer-term.

IMO The Wire is far too underrated in Australia. Easily deserves legendary status.

It is too hard to get the Derby Specials to fall into line because they rush to take the best seats and in the end they make it so that the week in/week out supporters cannot sit in a block to chant together and override the poor behaviour as you get pockets of proper supporters in a sea of Specials. One thing we can do is: When Specials try "We Hate Victory" those of us dedicated supporters here should drown it out with "Shushing". I have seen this done by other crowds to great effect.

It's only a small thing but at one of the games last season at half time we had fifa13 game shown on big screen. Crowd watched it and I think few of them really got into it

Half-time. While I might personally prefer something different I don't see a lot wrong with it as it is. As Alexiano says, the kids playing is good for the growth of the game and must give them a bit of a thrill to play on AAMI Park, and the challenges are a bit of fun. Also like and admire the lads who do that freestyle ball juggling. Although harping on an old theme...No. 1 thing for me is to get that guy off the microphone because IMO he ruins everything.
