Murfy1
Pleased with this signing. With Dugandzic and Mebrahtu on the wings we'll have one of the quickest forward lines in the league. Also, I watched him at GCU last season and found him to be pretty good on the ball. Despite not scoring he will provide a lot, similar to how Behich provided 5 assists and only one goal last season. I'm tipping Mebrahtu to become more lethal in front of goal as well, because he was a little unlucky last season and he is only 21, meaning he has ample time to develop as a player and improving his finishing. cadete
The thing that worries me about this guy is: That we don’t him on the Left possibly hurting the length Aziz’s dashing runs give us, and he obv won’t start in front of Mate either. Therefore the most likely time his going to get a gig is as a sub coming on around the 75th minute mark, and considering his record I really hope are not chasing a goal when the number 19 is lit up on the board. jw1739
As with Steven Gray, Heart have had a good look at Golgol at training, as a footballer and a person. So it's not just a highlights DVD or someone's recommendation that they're working from. Have to trust their judgement.

Shahanga
Well I've seen bugger all of him really -just the game GCU played against us last year. I thought he looked sharp in the warm up, but not particularly threatening in the game. I know he's young and had injuries, but zero goals in 3 seasons? For a striker?? I hope Aloisi is seeing something i missed.
heart_fan10
i don't mind him tbh. He has caused teams problems when i've seen him play (especially victory which is a bonus)

jw1739
Don't forget Golgol spent quite a lot of his time at GCU playing in the NYL, and he was on the scoresheet in both the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Give the guy a break.
JD.
Hope it pays off you can tell he has something about him but hasn't quite found his feet yet, could come to Melbourne and play well, but I'm cautious about getting my hopes up over him. Ando
Get behind him, you sour bastards. We all know the club is looking to balance the books, so get behind the lad. Who knows, he might put a few in and provide a few assists.

mario
The thing that intigues is do christians backstab fellow players when they get dropped? How well did the Gold Coast go last season with him striking? And JA do you add to the problems at the club in your fist year, don't you want to win or after he wasn't selected at Wellingtton,do you sound desperate or what JA? Is it that once your in the league you continue to shuffle the shit and make the club look bad? Is that the wooden spoon trophy all I can say is WATCH OUT MATE DUGANDZIC, BACK TO THE WALL

You do realise that some players chose to play VPL and in other State Leagues than going for A League glory??? Many simply cannot be fucked spending their lives stressed training and travelling for 40/50 grand a year on a A League contract. Esp if they have a job that pays already more and they can also get decent pay checks from a VPL club that only require them to train two nights a week. This is obviously a small minority but such players ability should be rubbished because they want to make a decent living for their families. Sash
Victory were happy to release him??? No, I don't think so. He was out of contract and wanted out. Was underplayed and didn't get on with Merrick from what you hear.
