The dress of red. The red dress. The 2nd of March. March 2nd. The bastardisation is a very "bogan" thing and is very uncommon. It is safer to assume that all americans are too stupid to tie their shoe laces than to assume that is how the majority of Australians talk. At least there is substantial evidence to show that americans are one of the poorest performers in regards to education in the western world. And before you start having a crack at the way Australians talk you should look at the hatchet job you yanks have done at bastardising the English language. NYCFCFan10
2nd of March 2015 = (The) 2nd (day) of March (in the year) 2015. Very verbose when English allows you to cut to the chase: March 2nd, 2015 Also, water can get f***ed. I want the outer limits of what I can stand on a hot day to be 100 degrees. I don't give a shit what water does as I lay dying in the heat. You guys can pry the superior Fahrenheit system from our 32 degrees cold dead hands. jw1739
haha No mate, no one says 2 March. Unfortunately, I have heard this way of giving the date many times on Australian TV ads for events. But please, gentlemen, if you must have this discussion can take place in it's own thread under the "Club Room" forum. It's easy enough to start a thread if you wish. This thread is about Frank Lampard. I will lock it unless posts are on topic.
Harrison
Good bantz, so how about that Frank Lampard guy. No don't worry about Lampard, the bloke is too old and weak and unfit nowadays, especially for the MLS. Just disregard that he has scored five times and set up one in the Premier League in 448 minutes at 36 years old.
NYCFCFan10
No mention of the measurement system? Nah, not much. Anything that requires exact-ness is better done in Metric. Anyway, back to Lampard, did you guys see he released a book? This is real, a couple of weeks ago, right after the announcement:

This is real, a couple of weeks ago, right after the announcement: He's actually written quite a number of children's books in the series. http://www.amazon.com/Frank-Lampard/e/B0034PF2DS He also has a high IQ, measured at one stage during his career at Chelsea at 150. belaguttman
2 March isn't even English. Sounds terrible. March 2nd 2nd of March But you guys bastardize it and say "Two March" don't you? The dress of red. The red dress. The 2nd of March. March 2nd. No, we bastardise it. This reminds me of one of my favourite jokes SAN FRANCISCO MAN BECOMES FIRST AMERICAN TO GRASP SIGNIFICANCE OF IRONY Jay Fullmer, 38, yesterday became the first American to get to grips with the concept of irony. "It was weird" Fullmer said. "I was in London and like, talking to this guy and it was raining and he pulled a face and said, "Great weather eh?" and I thought - "Wait a minute, no way is it great weather". Fullmer then realised that the other man's 'mistake' was in fact deliberate. Fullmer, who is 39 next month and married with two children, aged 8 and 3, plans to use irony himself in future. "I'm, like, using it all the time" he said. "Last weekend I was grilling steaks and I burned them and I said "Hey, great weather!"
