  1. GWS are lolsworthy, had a lower home crowd than most Heart games. They should relocate to Canberra where people actually care. Maybe a consortium from Sydney Olympic will offer to take them over based on these performances / poor crowds?
  2. I'd be wary of getting bresc. From accounts I've heard the Mid East leagues arnt that physically demanding and have a bit of a reputation of being less professional. If this is true and his age is be a little worried. Gee i don't know about that. Playing and training in 35 degree heat round after round is pretty demanding. IIRC the game before last he was pretty much the soceroos best anyway, and he's in a league with highly succesful Asian Champions League teams and where the majority of Middle East nt squads come from (eg Syria, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain etc), certainly teams that have caused us trouble in qualifying anyway. Not sure where abouts the less profewssional is coming from, i'd say he'd be a great addition to our squad even now.
  3. Get this, by far the best thing released all year.
  4. Be more critical of Abbott's spending on paid parental leave scheme without levy or direct revenue raising plz.
  5. FFS this forum is worse than youtube comments somemtimes.
  6. All Stars released: http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news-display/Foxtel-All-Stars-Top-35-as-selcted-by-fans/66763 ...who the fuck voted for Lucas Neill
  7. ffs, the Greens are gay? How old are you, 12? Well aware that i'm getting on my soapbox here but seriously i thought we were beyond calling stuff 'gay' in a derogative sense by 2013. Also specifically blaming individuals in politics is probably the thing about how Australians view politics that annoys me the most - and there are a lot of things that annoy me. Tony and Julia are both intelligent, talented and hard-working individuals who should be admired. Parties as a unit should be the ones for whom unspecific blame should be directed towards. It is the institution of various politicians and people behind the scenes that fuck up in most cases, not just the specific minister.
  8. Would support Victory if South Melbourne took over Heart. MKD + Ando are spot on.
  9. is clearly not about to leave Europe

  17. But usually what we sell isn't shit...
  18. I don't like most of their economic policy, and i don't think they're pragmatic in the way they do things. ETS is a good example of that, I don't like politics and politicians who are just trying to makethemselves look and feel good, rather than actually doing something for the country. Which is why i'm fairly disillusioned with politics altogether... And Simon Sheikh is the person running in my electorate for Senate from the Greens, and i'm extremely dissapointed in him becomming partisan. I'm also secretly a member of the Bullet Party Train so i should probs vote for them They're cool dudes.
  19. Policies that matter to me: - Funding for Public Education (Probably Greens but in reality no one) - More spending on Mental Health initiatives and training particuarly in rural areas (no one, maybe Greens or even K.A.P) - Getting rid of subsidies / corporate Welfare for the Car Industry to reinvest into education and skills in differnet more comeptitive industries in Australia (Liberal) - Stronger Tax on mining profits (Effectively No One) - Continuation of Carbon Tax (Labor) - Furthering the RET's scheme. (Greens) - Shift in Foreign Policy to less reliance on the USA and a change in particular to stances on Israel including harsher/fairer sanctions on its Nuclear Weapons program (probably Greens but they're far too hardcore in their policy) - Better relations with Indonesia and China as strategic partners in the Asia-Pacific (Effectively No-one) - Gay Marriage (Greens) - Better treatment of Refugees including legalization of ability to seek asylum via air travel and increased foreign aid to assist refugees living in Indonesia/Malaysia to increase oppourtunity cost of boarding a boat to Australia in comparison to remaining in Southeast Asia (Greens sort of) -Business confidence boosting through consistent policy creating stablity(no one) And, most importantly, Bullet train between Canberra-Sydney and Canberra developed as NSW's second airport. SO effectively i don't want to vote for anyone, because i don't like the Greens. Eh..will probably vote for Bullet Train Party in Senate and Labor for local member because Andrew Leigh is a top bloke and former lecturer in economics, so he knows what he's doing. Are you 12? In 3 months i am I'll get my Mum to send you an invite for the b'day party I just can't vote for Abbot. He is just such a fucken tool, all i have ever seen him do is complain about Gillard instead of adding any intelligent opinion. However, that doesn't mean that i hate all the Libreal party, Joe Hockey in particular, guy is smart as fuck and if ever given an opportunity to lead the Libs i would defiantly vote for him. Well you can't vote so it doesn't matter does it? Was more targetted towards the North Korea bit. Am curious to hear how deregulation and decreased public spending will lead to us becomming a socialist dictatorship.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlD3J14vans Liking this from Freddie Gibbs
  21. Fuck it, i'm jumping off Julia Gillard and Labor support. Bunch of idiots. I could post a thousand word essay on why cutting federal tertiary education funding in order to give more people a chance at tertiary education is stupid, dumb, hypocritical etc etc but i can't be fucked because everyone else on the interweb has already said it for me. Don't mind getting rid of the 10% off of up front fees, but seriously, placing an efficency dividend on universities? Doesn't the government realise that productivity isn't as relevant to Universities as it is to government departments? Do they seriously think that Education will still be a key export with lower levels of government funding? Don't they realise that they've now alienated one of their key support groups in left wing arts students? Why are they so bad at politics? Fuck them all, Tony Abbott would do the same i guess in terms of curtailing university spending but i've just given up on the rediculous lack of courage the Labor party has to actually properly tax something like Mining that would earn them revenue instead of cutting funding on the basis of efficency to a sector that is already struggling to maintain educational standards. :droy: :droy: Get rid of this government already, even i'm sick of it. I look forward to seeing a cohesive government that actually works and is good at politics / selling policy because they aren't all complete dumbfucks....except on immigration. Scott Morisson is still a dumbfuck. .
  22. I want a Melbourne Heart that only cares about Melbourne Heart. Agree with Cadete. Nothing in our history would have been different or benefited us better if we had a European Sister Club. No European player in there right mind would go to Australia and loan, and we're good enough at selling players already as it seems. No club would also be willing to come to Australia every single year either. So what is the merit then? Scott Munn has better shit to do tbh.
