Yeah, i'd reckon anyone else in the squad in that position would have probably had the same minimal impact. Same problem as the first few rounds of the year really.

I can't say i was especially happy with his performance either but he's 19 for fricks sake. He's got the talent, and now he's being exposed to professional games which is the best thing for him to develop better awareness/desicion making which looks like his problem. Same with Rojas at Victory. and every other young player in the world. The thing that annoys me about him is though is that he seems a bit lazy, which Ante and JVS certainly let him know about from the sideline yesterday.

There used to be someone in the A-Reserve near the bench who let JVS know every ten minutes that it was "time to go". They also called out asking why Thompson wasn't playing as a defender. Yeah. In JVS we trust.

He can't be match fit - seems like a bit of a waste of a short term signing if he takes a few weeks to be able to play a match, irrespective of his experience. But he does have a good record.
