Nope. Big teams (which we all hope we are trying to become) don't pick up Visa players that can't get a game from other A League clubs. The one thing we nailed last season was our Visa recruitment. All fit were top tier players. (Colazo maybe not but at LB in the early games and cup final definitely and Sorensen best or equal keeper in the League) So our visa recruitment I'm pretty confident we will get quality and Marinkovic isn't IMO.

I suggested that the entire club from the CEO to the person that answers the phone needs to sit on a bus that is driven at full speed off St Kilda pier while singing "So Happy Together" so we can start afresh next season. Not sure if they'll award me the signed club shirt, but if so it's bound to rise in value as sporting memorabilia if the suggestion is followed.

Happy for us to sign some players before a manager is signed. I wouldn't be signing players that will change our style of play or anything, but generic position Australians should be looked at. The pool of available Australians isn't big enough to give every other club a month headstart, otherwise we will be left picking up the dregs. I'm not advocating a big recruiting spree, but if you wait you are unlikely to snag the better youth prospects/potential starts and are left picking through the squaddie type players.

And probably will for the next 35 years.

That would be very hard to fake. For starters the nike info on the bottom right has 2017 and is out of focus. It still could be faked but id argue that someone with that skill probably would have been a die had supporter to put the effort into it, and most likely a poster on here so a little hard to say either way. Not a necessity but l give a fuck. In fact, l have two scarves and purchased another 3 for other family members. But l get a little jealous when l see every single Victory fan holding their scarves up singing together compared to us where the scarves are sporadic.

I think it's actually a good thing, means we arnt dipping into the pool of A-League spuds.

jw1739, i have just done the survey and did not hold back in voicing my opinion about our performance and the non answering of questions on City Voice. I also wrote a piece regarding the rush to get members to resign before May 31st and the ever increasing cost of memberships so hopefully i may get some sort of reply. I won't be holding my breath though.

I reckon they are there. Just not rich or privileged enough to be "considered" for the national team. I do believe that to be the case, but even with dodgy selections you'd still think they'd put out a far better team just based on the huge population.
