In the 1980s the stadium became dilapidated, as no funds could be found to refurbish it and eventually turned into a a Bazaar/Market Place. Its demolition began in September 2008, and the new National Stadium is constructed in its place to serve as one of the venues for Euro 2012 Insanity! jw1739
A Almondvale Stadium, home of Livingston FC (Scottish League). Built 1995. All seating capacity 8,700. The building in the lower right-hand corner of the ground is the club's administrative building. A nice compact ground with adjoining car-parks and (looks like an all-weather) training pitch. jw1739
Must be. The home team is F.C. St. Pauli who are 0-1 down to the "Gaste" (guests, visitors). But this must be some junior team playing, because St. Pauli have a great stadium, holding some 32,000 spectators.

My guess is that it was structurally perfectly sound and met all necessary criteria, permits etc., but superficially dressed-up to make it look as though it had been thrown together from recycled scrap. The "match-day experience" at St. Pauli must be something special. When you think of the blandness of ours...
