I saw a video a while back from Sporting KC, where they just ask the players what their favourite chant was and it was this, rather unanimously. So despite it being cringeworthy, it could be one that can get a lot more of the crowd involved and could motivate the team??? Don't know if that changes anyones mind though, I'm not too fussed. If it's a little more concise, with a bit of lead-in to prepare non-ysiders, it could/should catch on.. It's simple and freaking catchy. Also, it doesn't have to be "WE WILL WIN".. It could be just MELBOURNE TOWN/HEART IS RED AND WHITE or whatever.. MEL.. (MEL).. MEL-BOURNE... (MEL-BOURNE) MEL-BOURNE ..... You get the idea.
