I didn’t mind the booing of Lachie Wales and very mild anyway, thought the Talking City lads were strangely scathing of it - spent just as much time, if not more, talking about it as the bottles thrown at Micah. As it was referenced, the cheering of Bruno when he returned and chanting of his name after he scored is in my opinion the most embarrassing part of our club history and should never be repeated for any player.

I wonder with the capacity limitations if they'd open up the top tiers to allow for more? There's no point having 50% AAMI capacity all in the bottom tier, bring back the glory days of tier two (i.e. that one David Villa game against Newcastle).

Another one to speculate at length for those bored like me is Manuel da Costa. Been without a club since August and capped for Morocco but holds Portuguese citizenship.

He wasn’t in the squad for 6 consecutive matches, but I also just saw that he played against Granada on the 3rd so unlikely to be in quarantine in Melbourne imo.

Noone and Galloway are rubbish

Have just seen the club post that he'll be sidelined for 6 weeks.

With Nabbout & Atkinson both injured, he'll certainly have enough opportunity to shake off the cobwebs - he just doesn't strike me as a versatile winger, even if he does get past his man he's often chased down due to his pace making it difficult for him to get in and behind.

Has anyone heard how bad the injury is? I suspect we'll keep him on the sidelines longer as a precaution due to it being a recurring injury, the postponement of games means he won't miss as many games as he otherwise would have which is a positive.

I went Aiden O’Neill as I thought he was very good, particularly being a man down in midfield for 20 minutes. Very close to going Good, but the poll looks to be shaping as having O’Neill, Good and Metcalfe as the top 3 which I don’t think too many would argue about. Although not a noteworthy performance, a shoutout to Glover for is save on DWH to keep it at 0-0 in the first half.
