  1. He will stay here as long as CFG like. Once/if he plays his 10 games he can/will be loaned back for any additional period they fancy, with his MLS wage being declared at ~$60k, he'll easily slip inside the cap under the new loan rules.
  2. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...
  3. AAMI Park, Melbourne.
  4. About 10 days ago, in Nagoyas most recent game since the international break...
  5. Zenit have pulled of the biggest 'Deadline Day' coup, agreeing an undisclosed compensation figure with Fox to sign Bart Simpson. He will wear the number 87... Srs.

Can't speak for others, but I thought he deserved being looked at for the socceroos because we had fuck all left back options, and there was a time many would have considered him the best left back in the A-League. Things are different now, as in a short space of time there have been some new left back options emerge and it's not a problem position for the Socceroos anymore, while Behich has been out of form, so he is a long way away currently. Gee, for best mates, you two don't really seem to see eye to eye on much. A completely ridiculous statement to make (not too mention off topic as well), that says more about you than it does either of us. Cadete and I disagree on many things, but one thing we do agree about is that a person's values are more important than seeing eye to eye on everything.

Might wanna re-read through much of 'TTIM', 'TTDIM', 'Smartphone Discussion' just to name a few from the past couple days.

  9. Went and watched Preston beat Fitzroy earlier to stay top, very dominant in a 3-1 win. Also great to see the club is out of the red, with its successful 'debt demolition' captain over.
  10. Well, Naismith is at the moment... (and scoring...)
  11. They year the flogs won the league, he had a point per minute ratio similar to RVP/Rooney/Aguero/Adebayor... just saying. Eto'o much better value, however.
  12. Thanks, I just caught aids.
  13. Thank fuck for DPP 5 Prelims, and probably fielding my strongest team of the season this week, even got 2 starters on the bench.
  14. Around a week before the season starts.
  15. They're at about the same level as Whittlesea Ranges, who were beat 7-0 by Melbourne in a friendly a few weeks ago.
  16. Interesting bit of info on why the team have such shitty looking kits this season. Wanderers went through the same think with their first season kit, before getting a better template/design last season.
  17. It no way it is a good thing, full stop. With each policy there needs to be exemptions, but the whole rule is just stupid, this rule has stopped the league as a whole from growing, once already. The rule will also stop, for example, some young Australian players not getting game time overseas to come back and get game time in the A-League because clubs cannot afford the loan regardless if any of their wage is being paid for or not. Yes, sometimes rules need exemptions, and that example is a great one. However, I don't think there should be exemptions to allow privileged clubs to bring in up to 5 high-profiled foreign footballers for close to zero salary cap outlay. I can understand how frustrating it must be to miss out on Lamps, especially for you, but the HAL/FFA needs to man up and set the record straight early on.
  18. This is a good thing. If it were another club who had the backing of the City group, you'd all be crying foul. Needed to be done for the the integrity of the comp, otherwise the league loses part of its moral principles with the whole salary cap thing.
