A few subtle hints to a Englishman seconded recently to my office paid dividends. He just decided to sign his family ticket plus got his friends on board too. That's all it takes. The decider was, geographical proximation ( according to his research the south side of Melbourne are predominately Heart fans). Doesn't take much to promote your passion, club or other interests. Every member should be doing te same.

I have every confidence that Our club has already spoken to him. Remember, Aloisi was a socceroo and i have personally seen them together at a coffee shop last season pre game (against Victory). Timing and conditions is key.

Anybody noticed our club has increased it's online advertising? I see ads on all my favorite websites using iPad, iPhone and laptop. Lets hope it leads into new memberships.

Sign another Sth American goal scorer for peanuts like Germano!! We don't need aged strikers. There's gotta a be a dozen to choose from, someone like a Berisha, who could do really well in our league.

We need better competition. Vpl at the least. Results don't do us any good. We know they can bang goals against amateurs. Time to step up for real comps like Sth or knights, green gully, oakleigh, etc.

Petrevski is already a MHFC youth player. His pushing for a senior contract.

The club paid a transfer fee to a Noble Park club way back when for phil. The last I heard was Aloisi rates him and may promote him this season.

Just like to add, its a bigger population in east/south corridor. Outskirts for epping is 21km, unlike pakenham (50+km). Therefore Heart should base itself where the population is. I think most victory supporters are from the west and north. Would love to find out real statistics though.

I'm in Bundoora and will continue to support Heart regardless where it's located. Also, are Sick and tired of my boys amateur club and friends clubs holding clinics with Victory!! We're not going to win much more supporters in this area.

No doubt club is regretting not making that move to Monash. 80 percent of members are from Eastern side of town. Latrobe's ambitious plans for state of the art sports science facilities have not materialized. Confident te club will make the move unless Latrobe and Govt agree on funding by seasons end. Need better facilities in order to help us compete with the best in the league. Also build on an identity and brand.

Heard a rumour today that originates from Sidwell himself (through Intraloy connections), that we almost signed a Spanish player from a 2nd division side. Club was gutterred for not completing contract. We have a scout in Spain and Italy and JA his eyes on a few from these countries. Also, Kewell fell into the clubs lap, doesn't cost Heart anything.....described it as a no brainer!!

Was played in wrong position for a while And that cost him dearly.

My kids and wife turned up. Kids have photo of him. Wielart looked sharp when compared to Kewell. Kewell very unfit, ATM. Likely fitness staff aren't allowing him to go too hard so early....
