Im not going to lie, i havent seen a lot of the recent games. How has vidosic been doing? is he good enough to be in that creative role? heard through social media posts he was adapting to a 'target man' role? have i been mislead?

I dont agree that mauk is better or more useful to the purposes of the way we are playing at the moment. Maybe he works harder, maybe he is getting better creating things and does pitch in the odd assist or goal however I believe sometimes its better to have a player in the middle of the park that has the ability to change the game momentarily (ninkovic). We all love arzani because he is unpredictable. He runs at players and has the trait of natural ability. I think budz could be in the similiar vein. The times he has been on the park, he often does very delicate runs or passes that could and usually should be capitalised on by the rest of the team. I even see sometimes the team doesnt take advantage of arzanis plays, when he beats two players and plays a perfect cross. Personally, I like the way budz plays. He should never have been bought if he was never going to be used for the player he is. The worst thing I can think of as a coach is asking for a player to not play his own game or putting shackles on them. I just think its such a shame. I think someone like Bruno would really benefit from someone like Budz on the field. Brattan, budz and bozanic I think would be the best midfield in the league.

Ive just rewatched budz goals and highlights. It a real shame this guy didnt get to play this season, I think with him in the XI, we would be nearly certain to at least make the gf. I can hope but i doubt he will start against brisbane

thats a travesty. Him being called back was probably just a power play by the coach to show he was in control of his players. what a shame, he is a great player (from what we saw)

We know what he can do, but i guess its run run run, not create create create. shame because brattan seems to do the job better and adapted to the new style of coaching, but isnt a through and through 10, more an 8. under this system, how do you actually score when attacking is so boring.

move off some more senior players like muscat, maybe la rocca, people surplus to requirement. promote some more juniors on the cheap, frees up more for quality players like rossco. I think this was something similar to what someone said sydney fc does. Put all their money into starting XI and the bench and have cheap squadies to back it up. A totally fit XI with reliable youngsters pushing them would do us well in the long run. All for having age and experience, but not players rotting on the bench. Give the kids a run and they will pay dividends for us in the long run, as proven with atkinson, arzani and hopefully more (metcalfe, genreau and about half of our NYL team - our youth quality is actually ridiculous) sorry ran slightly off topic...the jist was to say a player like ross should be kept if it means moving on some more senior players. I would support that

only positive from atkinson is that we actually have a good replacement (im optimistic for him) in delbridge for him, muscat can F*** off. But really sad for the kid, hes been a revelation for us

sounds like it was game of the season material for us! this is the result we SHOULD expect against the lower teams with the squad Wazza has put together. The best part, three in the squad are younger than 20 years, two of them starting! exciting time to be a City fan. AND budZINZKIIIIII BOMBS for days! Hopefully he can keep his spot and we can see if hes the real deal we have needed for seasons since Mooy.

if you think having the piss wreck malik at right back is a 'good cgoice', you have lost it. give atkinson the start in the derby, i am more than sure he will show up whoever he marks and will destroy victory's left back cos they have shit all in terms of full backs

considering we had 8 players in the recent u/17 asian cup qualifiers, all players should be on the watch in the NYL!

I think you have to do it off the basis of consistency over the whole period the player was at the club. I think anyone who came for a less than a season is entirely derserving of our best ever XI. Here is what I propose: Tando (had a ripper season, too much sentimental value) marrone Kisnorbo Jakobsen Aziz Paartalu Mooy Engelaar Thompson Williams Bruno Bench: Terra, Bort, Novillo, Sorenson, Fred I think this team could pretty much go toe-to-toe with any other teams best. Got two of the best midfielders to ever grace the league in Mooy (the best) and the big Dutchman. Paartalu got us out of so many shit situations (and so many last minute goals). The amount of pure c*** in the back line is nothing short of amazing. And you have our two greatest goal scorers upfront. I think the bench have all done pretty special stuff for us. Bort has only played a few games but hes already shown himself to be one the best defenders we have ever had-plus he layed into matt simon the hack (pretty much earns legend status with me, like fernando last season) Thoughts on this would be good
