Agreed. I remember him at the roar. He was one player, along with fitzgerald at CCM that actually scared me. He seemed like he could make something out of nothing. We wont get a better midfielder than him honestly. Hes just as good as brillante, lia etc... Comes down to the coaching at the end of the day.

its amazing you know. All i hear is how good honda is and that he has been keeping players behind to give them 'extra' help. Kevin Muscat, the wank that he is has endorsed this approach. Whilst our coach wont take suggestions from players that have played at higher levels that he has coached. Nor did we ever hear cahill being respected in the same light during his time, and bothering to give the younger players extra advice. what a mess

If we some how manage to let this boil over into a huge drama (everyone is already making a meal of it) and bruno leaves deadset the club is a joke. We will not get a better striker than him (and not nearly as proven in the A-league). It will be the straw that breaks the camels I think if we let him go in a shoddy way. He is already a club legend, and has one of the best reputations in the league as a player minus the diving accusations.

I think when good gets fit, he will be a revelation for us. I remember him and Hamil were insane for the half a season or so. If he has improved over the last few years (lets hope so) he could be really strong. But I think it will take delbridge to get sent off and la rocca to die (plus malik) for him to make the XI in the near future

Yeah when he tried to nutmeg ninkovic, when it clearly wasnt on, you have to wonder, thats pretty fooking arrogant. All his crosses were shite, he made a good run or two and some nice first touches. But not enough of the simple stuff and got burned by zullo and ninko to much.

Just got back from the game. Biggest waste of 24$ for a concession ticket. My takes: Florian could go down as the worst visa we have ever signed. yep, jamo has to be in! Wondering when good is going to get given a shot. Not likely with the form of delbo and bort. Going to be a huge game from the midfield and centerbacks. Le Fondre is looking the goods and sydneys midfield with ninko is probably the best in the league, at least the most consistent.
