  1. Messi needs bread on the table too
  2. Disappointing news but not unexpected. Hopefully there are some signings to offset some of the disappointment from the last few days.
  3. I assume he signed much earlier in the season when we was sitting on the bench behind Delbo & Jamison. Very disappointing to add to the grand final pain.
  4. Don’t we pretty much play with a back 3 with the LB pushing into midfield
  5. Agreed, would be a solid bench player but zero goals & 3 assists for a winger is not starting material.
  6. I hope Optus gets the rights for next season and embraces the A-League, unlike fox.
  7. Gutted but proud of our season. Atkinson and Glover were outstanding tonight.

    Tom Glover

I was very hesitant on Glover considering his stint at CCM was shocking but I’m glad to be proven wrong. The kids a gun and will only get better!
  9. Gotta give props to old mate playmaker, he saw the quality in Flo well before anyone else.
  10. Growling Frog is a nice course
  11. EXCLUSIVE: Roadblock for A-League restart as bitter rivals forced to share budget camp Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory will share budget accomodation in Narrabeen.Source: FOX SPORTS The long wait to cross the border into NSW will finally end for at least two of Victoria’s three A-League clubs on Friday — but tournament organisers are facing a scheduling nightmare that poses a roadblock to next week’s planned restart. Fox Sports understands both Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory will fly into Sydney at 10am on Friday, pending NSW government exemptions, before likely going into a mandatory quarantine for 14 days. The rival camps will share budget accommodation and sleep in bunkbeds at a training base on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. While it poses significant challenges for schedule makers, the A-League remains hopeful the season can still resume on July 16 as originally planned if things fall their way. Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City will be housed at the Sports Academy in Narrabeen.Source: FOX SPORTS Both clubs will train and be housed at the Sports Academy in Narrabeen, with players likely staying in bunk beds given the facility’s rudimentary set-up. The Sports Academy is the same venue where NRL club the Manly Sea Eagles train. It has been a mad and often farcical scramble for Victoria’s three clubs to cross the border into NSW over the past week, with two flights into Canberra scrapped at the last moment. After the NSW government announced it was shutting borders to Victoria from Tuesday midnight and Monday midnight for Melbourne residents, Victoria’s three clubs booked a late flight to Canberra only for low visibility in the nation’s capital to see the trip scuppered on Monday. The following night another trip to Canberra was cancelled after the ACT government informed them they would need to quarantine for 14 days without training if they touched down in the nation’s capital. Fox Sports has sought comment from FFA.
  12. Our season is almost over, NRL barely starting would be the major difference.

Just pointing out this forum have whipping boys and no matter what they do will get crucified. Also comparing just to rustle some jimmies tbh, I'm 100% on board with Glover.

Agreed, if Bouzanis had made the errors Glover has made the last few weeks this forum would've wanted his head on a stake.
  15. To support the club. Not sure why anyone would complain about the Macca’s promo. We need fans, hopefully we win and the freebie supporter enjoy it and sign up to a 3 games memebership.
  16. I’m glad Delbo is riding the pine. Griff doesn’t deserved to get dropped.
  17. Wasn't the theory at the time more derbies = more fans? Either way the league is down as a whole and needs a serious shot in the arm next season, whether that's Macarthur or big name players something needs to change.
  18. Has any clubs attendance is gone up this year? Its an overall league problem, WU hasn't given the league a shot in the arm like WSW did.
  19. Wales is a reasonable a-league bench player. He can create havoc with his speed and looks to take players on but his end product is dreadful.
