When I bought my tickets for this game I was looking forward to it. No longer. There is no doubt we will get flogged.

We have arguably the best collection of players in the league - certainly the best we have ever had. So how does JVS manage to have them produce so much crap? I am over watching every match with fear and trepidation. Seriously thinking I would be better off only watching televised matches and certainly those that don't feature this hopelessly organised team. No way I can wait until the end of the season to see the back of this prick.

Exactly this. Everyone is "biased" to some degree or other (except possibly me). It's a difficult job and I don't think the referees are consciously biased. However the standard of refereeing, whilst having improved, still has a way to go with quite obvious mistakes being made each week.

If something has gone on between them and it's a choice of Sorenson or JVS, it seems that the wrong decision has been made.

People talk about Dean's distribution but I have not been impressed with it in any game. Too many kicks out of bounds. His positioning is poor and command of his area almost non existant. Why does JVS persist - oh that's right - it's JVS.

Yes, attendance was good but a little disappointing. Maybe the long weekend would have some impact. Let's see what the next home game brings.

This guy is electric. Fast, good ball skills, very aware of his surroundings, spot on passing and not afraid to take on players. Easily replaces the exciting play of Novillo. A great signing.

The FFA match review committee has determined that "Thomas Sorensen will serve a suspension of one (1) match, being the minimum sanction for the offence of denying the opposing team an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball." Fair enough - but how on earth can they say "deliberately"?

This. Just rewatched the incident. That was incredibly good goalkeeping by Sorensen and incredibly bad luck it rebounded onto his arm. Certain goal saved.

Don't think we will hit it by round 1 but will be well over it by our first home game. Our membership is tracking very close to Sydney's. I think we have finally "arrived"

And we have passed our last year's final membership total of 9490. My prediction of close to 10,000 by the beginning of the season is looking like my first green line.

Just do it - or wait a few more days and become the 10,000th member.
