  1. Yep, Kisnorbo will make a great coach one day, no doubt about that, but it's definitely too soon for him atm.
  2. Ok, that makes sense. They were there at the Geelong game too, would imagine they'd do something similar for the derby.
  3. What's the go with them atm? So what I can gather, the original North Terrace now go back to their favourite spot up the back of level three whilst a new group has started where the original North Terrace used to stand? So there's essentially three supporter groups for them atm or is that not the case?
  4. Yep, exactly, thought it was strange at the time knowing that Newcastle were already up there and if they left earlier then the seven hour delay wouldn't have mattered so much. It just seems so strange with the whole CFG setup yet we can't get this shit right.
  5. Also Newcastle in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday night whilst the likes of Cahill was at the tennis in Melbourne watching Nadal. Says it all. k sounds good 💁
  6. Fark yeh, Coffs, could be a good away trip (not so much reffering to the football).
  7. Actually walked behind Bolton after one of our home games in around December, so he still obviously comes to games etc, and I must admit at the time I thought he was still employed by the club so it's interesting that he's longer involved.
  8. 80% of Heart's fanbase didn't change over to City? Not doubting this comment but just genuinely curious if it's as high as that?
  9. Talking about the league mate. And yes, it was awesome winning the FFA Cup final but truth of the matter is we were starting to waver around then in the league and unfortunately haven't made any inroads since.
  10. At least under Heart this was expected in terms of investment etc, and not gonna say it's as bad as that, but how much longer can we keep seeing this shit? This season was meant to be our season, instead it's looking worse than last season.
  11. Most expensive squad in the history of the A-League... nek minut loses to the bottom team.
  12. @Melburnian His Twitter handle says he's employed by News Corp (Adelaide based). Whether that makes him reliable or not is another story.
  13. No urgency at all until we went down 2-1 late in the game, says it all really. Dare I say it, thank God for Timmy, at least he's showing his worth.
  14. And not to mention that expansion will allow for more players etc too obviously.
  15. Been mentioned a couple of times already, but that home end turnout was baffling. Otherwise I actually thought we turned out in good numbers.
  16. If we win, we win, if we lose, we lose.
  17. Was about to post this exact thing. Bobo is alright though m8 because he didn't take a fooking dive!
  18. That's always a possibility too, but my point is that they might not feel the need to kick up a big media storm ala South Melbourne because they may have more assurance from the FFA. The fact that they've already had meetings with the FFA well before any of this expansion talk really came to a head shows that there's clearly something in the works. Guess we'll all just have to see what happens.
  19. Also, did have to lol at the front page of today's Geelong Addy, with Luke DeVere photoshopped into a Geelong Cats inspired jersey, whilst tackling Tim Cahill of Melbourne 'United'. 😂 But still, great to see it being well supported by the local rag nonetheless.
  20. Some articles are seeming to suggest South Sydney and Geelong are the two favourites with bookies. South Melbourne are at $26. This comes in line with earlier rumours that South Sydney and Geelong were favoured by FFA. As someone has already stated on another forum, the quietness of the Geelong bid may suggest that they know it's in the bag, much like the Heart bid all those years ago. Obviously they've already met with the FFA earlier this year and have already had discussions with the state government, local government and the Kardinia Park trust, so clearly something is occurring there. Could also explain why we haven't heard anything all that concrete with South Sydney either. The fact that games have been played in Geelong over recent years, including Atletico Madrid, would suggest Geelong is at the very least in consideration for expansion. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out anyway, but a Geelong team would be awesome and wouldn't hinder the Melbourne market.
  21. Yes, St George could have been added in there too if you wanted to be even more specific. 😂
