Popular Post Tesla
*Seed & Nut Crew* Welcome gentlemen to the official thread of the *Seed & Nut Crew*. The *Seed & Nut Crew* is a sacred order which has existed as long as the beautiful game has. For as long as men have kicked a ball through goal posts, other men have stood on the sidelines engaging in the consumption of seeds and nuts. The crew is currently accepting new memberships. To be part of the crew, one must obey and respect the Seed & Nut Code. The Seed & Nut Code Article 1: A member will always be 100% loyal to the crew and his fellow brethren who make up the crew. One does not simple engage in the consumption of seeds & nuts at a football game, it must be understood that participating in this activity with your brethren is in fact one of the strongest bonds between people that is possible. Article 2: When in possession of seeds and/or nuts at a football game, it is one's duty to share his seeds & nuts amongst his fellow brethren. No matter if its a handful of sunflower seeds, or a kg of macadamia nuts, one's brethren will not go without. Article 3: The shell stack will always be respected. Through the consumption of shelled seeds and nuts, there is an inevitable need to dispose of the aforementioned shells. This is done in the immediate vicinity of where one is standing, and as numerous shells are disposed of, a stack will develop close to one's feet. Developing a solid shell stack every game is an important part of engaging in the consumption of seeds & nuts, and its size is often used as a measure of one's performance, commitment, and seniority amongst the crew. Article 4: One will put in one's forum signature the following: *Seed & Nut Crew* Basic Guide to Various Seeds and Nuts Sunflower seeds The classical form of seed & nut and the one which will be primarily consumed. Any novice seed & nut consumer should focus solely on the consumption of the sunflower seed initially. it is important to quickly develop ones technique for extracting the seed, eating the seed, and disposing of the shell in one swift action. It usually doesn't take the novice long to master this technique and move on to developing a solid shell stack which will earn him respect amongst the brethren and then allow him to move on to being considered an intermediate seed & nut consumer, allowing him to expand his seed & nut horizons. However, the sunflower seed still remains the staple seed & nut consumed, even amongst advanced and elite consumers. Pumpkin seeds Once a solid shell stack can be achieved through sunflower seeds only, and the novice moves to intermediate status, usually the pumpkin seed is next to be tried. Slowly adding it to the current consumption of sunflower seeds is the correct way to progress. A common mistake made by those just starting on the pumpkin seed is to consume the shell as well. This is not ideal neither from a consumption point of view, as eating just the seed is preferable, nor is it ideal from a shell stack point of view, as consuming the shell limits one's ability to develop their shell stack. Pistachio Nuts Once one is ready for the exciting world of nuts, the pistachio nut is a good entry point. It contains a shell which still enables one to develop their shell stack, while enjoying a more tasty option than sunflower or pumpkin seeds. Many feel the pistachio nut maximises the trade off between taste and shell stack building capabilities, making it a popular option amongst intermediate, advanced, and even elite consumers. Cashews A tasty option, however the lack of shell means its consumption should be restricted to advanced and elite consumers only, who can still develop a strong shell stack from shelled seeds & nuts during a game even though they are also engaging in the consumption of cashews. Macadamia Nuts Often considered the gold standard seed & nut, the Macadamia nut is not only highly regarded, but also features an exceptional taste and consumption experience. Its consumption should be restricted to elite consumers and senior seed & nut crew members only. If less experienced consumers partake in the consumption of Macadamia nuts it could be seen as a disrespectful action towards more experience consumers who have done their time on the lesser seeds & nuts. Others Of course these aren't the only options. There are many other seeds and nuts which can be consumed at football games, and one must experiment with various types to find what he likes. Often respect can be earned through consumption of and providing his brethren with uncommon forms of seed & nut.
Woody
Seeds > Nuts. You also neglected to mention VPL seed and Nut vendor and his usually Swan St perch. All members are required to purchase from aforementioned vendor pre game. Also at VPL matches seeds must be bought and consumed every lap the vendor takes of the pitch. MaliMate
Am a Pistachio & Cashew man. Will break legs for them if needed. Speaking of which, someone thieved all my Pistachio's that I left in the back-row during the Roar game @ HT. Could have just asked cunts I had about 6 packets. dRoy
I'd like to officially apply for membership into the *Seed & Nut Crew* I have been a lifetime fan of cashews and pistachio nuts, and just recently, at the baseball, I tried my first ever sunflower seed (love at first bite). I feel that as a member of this impressive crew, I would quickly develop my seed and nut eating abilities to the appropriate level to easily blend into the crew. As a tall person, I would bring height to the crew, which is a much needed attribute to any crew. Please consider my application carefully, and I will no doubt bring some pistachios and sunflower seeds on Friday night. Regards, dRoy.

marteaux
Will bring a kilo of Cashews to next Heart game (senior or youth) for group consumption. I've got naturally oily skin, so my skin goes hyper oily when I consume said cashews. Been meaning to up my seed intake at VPL, youth, and A-League games however. Not sure if it's my place to cut in here but if you visit the place you won't be disappointed! Seeds, nuts, herbs, bars, confectionary, day-made baklava, the list goes on. A lot of people I've seen in there are usually wholesalers earlier in the mornings but the general public won't be alienated.

Attila
Despite being a novice seed, the Sunflower Seed is commonly seen as one of the hardest seeds to masterfully consume. Pumpkin seeds are much harder to extract IMO.
