  1. Am I the only one who is struggling to understand the relevance and where exactly this conversation is going?
  2. It's in the works lads. Key is ensuring we have enough funds to buy stock without compromising on tifo's etc Any hints as to whats in the works bt? Tshirts or hoodies. Will definatly be released at some stage in the first half of next season, hopefully earlier rather than later. squeeze in a black wind breaker and a few polos then the best dressed terrace will be back

    Finals Derby

At least the Active section is sold out hoping it actually fills up unlike last derby at etihad when it said it was sold out but the bay was only half full if that
  6. Will there be scarfs on sale pre game at the imp?
  7. He's right, we shouldnt be lazy and copying others we have enough coppied chants from rivals if it was up to me Id have none, I wouldnt even have "we are melbourne, we are city chant" @Beardedheart knows my irk about using rival chants from other terraces but anyways. we should be a new terrace where chants and tifosi has to be new and creative. thats all. One thing Yarraside downside is copying of chants from other terraces in the a league, no wonder why we cop it from rivals telling us were lazy, thieves, unimaginative, uncreative and unoriginal. We need to step away from copying rivals.....theres millions of chants out there from Europe, South America that arent even used in the A League, use them! It wasn't Yarraside copying chants from other A-league terraces it was them copying it from Yarraside. So how about some food for thought about your downside to Yarraside.
  8. I think its too early to be changing a chant so early lets just keep it the way it is nice and simple until we get more people joining in
  9. Yeah look your just a f*cking idiot. How the hell can you honestly try to interpret him walking of the ground as soon as he can as caring for the teams performance
  10. You're appreciative of something that didn't happen? um yes i am coz they tried to make it happen but it was out of their hands whether or not it could happen. I guess you would never appreciate effort then, if thats your attitude You sir and im not sorry to say it but are an absolute dipshit
  11. whats with the obsession on making these kind of songs into chants. It doesnt pump any body up, it creates a dull atmosphere and the only occasion where it is remotely acceptable is when SHT is sung so the space is pre occupied.
  12. Offense taken cause I voted for so happy together and personally would prefer to keep it as so happy together
  13. this song is nothing like never walk alone so it hardly can be said that 'never walk alone sounds amazing so will this' the only thing these songs have in common is the fact that there both songs.
  14. I'm sorry but this has got to be the worst suggestion I have heard in my entire life. If we use this we will be the laughing stock of the A-league and the entire sporting scene of Australia. Use this oppurtunity to put more energy in the terrace this sh*t drains the vibe and does not get any body pumped
  15. love missing the goal because of the fucking stream
  16. To be honest though i feel as if we have been the better side and the way we want to play once practised i think we can be a relatively good side
  17. Archie Thompson beats up his wife C*** Archie Thompson beats up his wife C*** Archie Thompson beats up his wife C*** Repeat x 1,000,000
  18. Since when are we 11 points behind Brisbane when the league hasn't even started?
  19. Pre-Take over I think this would be good enough. But although he played EPL Hull and West Brom Albion aren't exactly powerhouses. If CFG were looking to make a splash this won't do it. I'd never heard of him before now. He 'might' turn out to be a good player but he's nothing I'm getting excited over. Not when we were thinking we were getting mega bucks to get someone from one of the top tier clubs in Europe. I was never expecting a great name at their peak but I was expecting a great name at the end of their career (but not washed up) or I was expecting someone younger who didn't quite make it at the top tier clubs i.e. someone who played a handful of games for a Champions League club I would say you expectations are entirely ridiculous. The A-League has very little appeal even when we have mega bucks behind us. You are also quick to forget that when CFG bought us they said that they would not waist money on a player looking for a final pay cheque. I believe the majority of footballers will ply their trade in the highest possible league they can for as long as possible. Who in there right mind would at a young age leave champions league club and come to Melbourne City and the A-League when they can play in the Europa League team or a middle table team in the best leagues in the world???? I was never suggesting wasting money on someone who was only after a final paycheck. I agree that would have been a waste. I also didn't say a 'young' player I said 'younger' as in younger than 33. Maybe my expectations were too high because I did honestly expect to get the best marque the A-League has seen. i.e. above ADP, Fowler etc. I'm not saying by any stretch he's not going to be good or great just the signing is less than I expected. ADP was a good marquee but by no means excellent, same goes for Fowler. They were huge names of the park but on field performances were not terrific. I wouldnt be surprised if Koren proves to be a more influential and better player on the the park then ADP or Fowler. Big names are what your looking for but again as CFG alluded to they are looking for Big players

  21. There is no chant in this link which im suggesting to use but i feel the size of there terrace and active support is similar to us in being small so just a taste of the noise and energy we could be able to create.
  22. Personally i reckon Niko Kranjcar would be the perfect signing for us. Doubt its able to happen but feel he would be a terrific influence on and of the field
